Yes, I am waiting to see what news is released over the next month or so.
I will be particularly interested to see if, should Zeta decide to go ahead with Core Star, the release date is delayed from their initial December timeframe.

 

I'm suddenly a lot more optimistic that Core Star will make it.

If not, that’s about as close as you can get to comparing apples and oranges.
Because IT-01 is Megatron and MP-44 is Optimus.
Zeta’s and HasLab’s are at least both the same character.
I have to assume you mean one of the 3P Optimus’.

 

I've got a pre-order with Show Z. It's still coming out, it's just quiet until Hasbro's shellformer blows over.

 

I checked my Show.Z pre-orders and apparently I pre-ordered Core Star twice, lol. Once at the beginning of Aug. and once in Sept.

I wonder if two of these would still be less than the official?

 

I hope they took this downtime to address the fact that Haslab's planet mode looks way better, between the thinner equator (which I understand actually contains some body parts) and WAY bigger ring. I mean, if it still comes out.

 

Those videos contained a pre-production sample. Unlike Haslab's, which was 3D printed, those videos showed a sample that came from actual molds. It's pretty much unchangeable at this point, but it also means that it'll be out in a few months.

 

I can imagine to put Core Star in shelf with my G1 collection. He is like missing piece here.

I wouldn’t mind a larger ring, as it would also mean a larger ‘wingspan’ and I’m a sucker for robot wings.

 

TerryTFs Club (who I've always known as being very reliable) also re-listed Core Star in the past couple of days. Could be a coincidence, or could be that they know something we don't. Fingers crossed!

 

More than anything its most likely them seeing that the haslab campaign will end at the end of this week and they are putting them back up for when zeta comes back out of hiding.

 

I have my preorder on TF-Direct and I see other vendors also have preorders available.

 

I was making plans to 3D print my own Unicron, but with Zeta back in, I might actually buy just to support their business further.

 

Once the Haslabs crowdfund deadline has passed (meaning next week), Zeta should put out feelers and a poll (a poll not under the Zeta name), asking collectors, if there is an interest with having there current version of corestar and is there enough interest in a larger corestar (30"+), and the market will determine if Zeta could produce both, allowing for a larger fan base to be happy.

 

I would definitely be willing to shell out $400 for a 30"+ Unicron. I've paid more for combiners that were smaller than that. Hell Hercules cost $600 when it first came out, LOL

 

I need to see color test shots before I can pre-order this.

As much as I love what they have created, I have questions about how all of the panels will line up with bot and planet colors
