Ah, so they just switched the heads on the two figures. The Commander looks so weird with the tiny BA head.
I don't see why they couldnt have used a Commander sized head for the BA Prime in the first place.

I'm not quite sure...Could it be a custom? It looks a bit different from the Commander head to me, yet very similar.

 

The momo head is a custom and she does not plan on selling it sadly. Just got confirmation.

 

I see. That's a bummer, but i'm certain someone will sell a head upgrade someday.

 

M 01 Commander is not Black Apple's work, but just Wei Jiang.

That's weird. There was no signature on mine. I don't store boxes, but it was like on that shot. Or like in EmGo review.

 

M01 Commander that WJ produced was initially done as a custom by BlackApple. They worked together to produce it.

More like it was the Revolutionary move that started the OS KO movie craze. Everybody has made all of the OS KO figures with a few exceptions to the scale of m01 Commander because it was that brilliant of a toy. Go watch some reviews I'm pretty sure you won't be able to find one that was like oh this toys sucks. That one figure alone got a lot of people into collecting movie toys. It changed the opinions of G1 enthusiast about the movie toys.

 

I like the figure, don't own it - bought for a present, but really like. But I consider another OSKO to have made that Revolutionary move. I think, M 01 Commander was released a little bit later, though it supported the revolution. Who really started the revolution is another Wei Jiang's product: MPP-10 - a king of OSKO and still a guiding landmark.

 

Can you explain how an oversized version of G1 Optimus Prime resulted in all of the oversized movie Robots? From my understanding there's only four or five oversized G1 Masterpiece figures and repaints of those. Oversized Megatron oversized start screen and all the repaints oversized Ironhide and the repaint ratchet oversized Inferno oversized Bumblebee oversized sideswipe that doesn't scale with anything. So what does G1 oversized mp10 have to do with Dream Factory black mamba and all the other companies that have been making oversized Movie figures?

 

Easy. You make great oversized robot that becomes a real OSKO Masterpiece and then: "So why can't we oversize something from the movie?". But I think it becomes an off-top now.

 

That's not how it happened at all. Black Apple made the modifications first, and was either approached by WJ or vice versa. Either way, the OS resulted from the modifications made by BA, not because of WJ OSing anything.

Which, by the way, OS bots are not exclusive to WJ nor did they start the "movement." "Taighonzen's Dong Man" is a line that has OS figures across the board, long before Evasion Prime or even MP10 entered the picture.

 

Not sure if it's out yet, but I think the wait is worthwhile. Looking pretty good. Also, surprised to see it's a bit taller than M01.
