Ironworks is basically a new character, like most of these potential Micromaster Barbie Dreamhouses will be. I think folks should quiet down with their screeching about Another Optimus Prime or Another '84 Autobot that Hasbro isn't forcing you to buy.

If G1 Arcee can get her first ever proper toy, and a Headmaster toy, why not Hyperdrive?

 

I think that the new prime is much better than Siege Optimus.

 

Absolutely, he's a blank slate so they can basically do what they like with the trailer to incorporate it with whatever other toys they'd have in the works at the time and Autobot trucks always seem to do well.

I dunno, the trailer looks to be comprehensively inferior to the original on just about every level. I wish I could say the opposite was true. I know some people only care about the botmode, but I feel if they're going to do a trailer, they should follow through and go all out. Should be more than a plastic box on wheels.

And Hasbro should never stop making Optimus, or any of the other core characters. And it's ok for folks to enjoy and keep buying them; go for it if you want it, I say.

The problem is that Hasbro keeps just making this same version of Prime every time. There's no desire to push beyond an already (very) well-trodden 30+ year old design.

Where are the updates to RID? Armada? Energon? Machine Wars? Reinterpretations of Animated? Something new?!

And that's just Optimus, let alone the other characters that have lead the faction.

Optimus is great, but we've had PoTP, MP44, Siege and now Earthrise all released one after the other and essentially looking exactly the same. It really is getting very boring.

 

A UT line going through all of A, E, C would be an instant sale for me personally. I might as well directly give them my card details because I’d buy everything. That was my shit.

Please TT, give me an MP Armada Convoy. I don’t care what it costs lmao.
