With the lack of communication and out right vagueness regarding them from BBTS I'm leaning towards the Pulse exclusive theory. I'm just saying, parts of the OPs story isn't making sense or maybe he exaggerated a few details. I still don't understand how only ONE person can confirm their pre order of them being canceled when no one else can verify or confirm it happening to them.

 

So are you saying I made it up? I actually did mention it in the other thread days before. They may still be in your pre-order but according to them unless something changes your not getting them. Mine are gone. I asked if they could restore my order and that is the response I got. I hope we do end up getting them but unless Pulse tells them otherwise you read what she said. I've been around long enough that I don't need to make things up for attention. You are free to email BBTS. They will tell you the same thing.

Also, how about in the future if your going to call me out you actually use my name instead of passive aggressive "original poster" and "he claims". I try to share information and you insult me. Good day sir!

 

I never said you "made it up", I just found it very strange how only person can make a claim about an order being canceled when atleast over 50+ people who pre ordered the same item to this day still have it sitting in their order page on their bbts account. I never intended to start a fight or a witch hunt, I was simply pointing out an observation that I doubt I'm the only one that noticed or made raise an eyebrow about it as well.

 

stprime has proven himself to be a very reliable member over the years. He thought it odd just as everyone else, which is why he reported his findings to us. No need to doubt him here. If anything, just doubt what Hasbro/TakaraTomy may be doing with these.

 

I called this morning and the rep said he would get me a definitive answer and email me back.

The email I received was the same hasbro Pulse Exclusive one.

 

WT... are they going to force us to provide money to go on sale? This already looks like DLC to download characters from PS4 / Xbox.

I don’t care if others don’t like my opinion but I’m getting tired of hasbros pulse shit. imo hasbro sucks. Just my opinion.

I’ve talked to others that have the membership and they couldn’t even get the exclusives. Sold out every time. Usually when the link goes up it’s sold out.
Keep this up hasbro I’ll just keep getting third party.

give us your money for membership so we can piss it away and your still don’t get shit.

Something worth noting - the original post showed “Kellen” sounding confident the exclusivity would be limited. Perhaps the preorders are holding because we can still get them after that period?

Yeah. I am super furious at BBTS over this. I spend thousands of dollars a year at that site and expect to be notified of some major shitshow like this happens, especially since I would have had time to put in a preorder at Pulse. Now I bet I’m gonna have to drop like $150 each on them on eBay.

 

Honestly, it’s crap like this that makes me want to give up TF collecting forever. I’ve already dropped down to just WFC and masterpieces. But between this stuff and $450 masterpieces, it may just be time to throw in the towel.

I think WFC will be the final stop on my transformers collectathon. It looks like they’re going to do the rest of the G1 homage stuff with micro master bases in Earthrise, and probably pretenders or something in WFC3. I think after WFC year 3, that will be a good time to get off the train. I’ll have all the stuff I always wanted when I was a kid, and I can start banking those thousands of dollars a year I donate to Hasbro. I don’t need all this stress. Hell, if seacons weren’t the one combiner team I was looking forward to since combiner wars started, I’d cancel my seacons wave 2 order right now. But I’ll bend over on eBay in January for turtler and gulf. But I see the last straw coming....

 

...pulse is the first time in recent memory that hasbro has made an effort to make takara exclusive items available to american fans with no markup. this is a bbts issue, hasbro corrected their miscommunication within an hour and a half according to @Dorksidetoys and its now been 2 months with bbts just now admitting they wont be getting these figures. stop blaming hasbro and put the blame on the vendor that lied to their customers and didnt communicate with them

 

Hasbro Asia do their own thing as well, so you can order from places like Robot Kingdoms but shipping cost more.

 

Yeah I went ahead and placed an order on RK for turtler and gulf. If it all gets resolved and I end up with extras someone who missed out can get them from me.
