I hope we see more ay NYCC beyond the leaks....because so far even as a big G1 fan im feeling bored. Ironworks and the micromasters are pretty much it for me so far...i just hope we can get the OMNIBOTS, then put 84-85 to bed for a long nap soon and move on to finishing 86-95

 

Yes! Like what everyone else has paid for a trailer to go with their Prime figures bought by 3rd party companies. Or you could wait for a special edition trailer from Takara that’s actually more.

Ironworks has some "peeling" paint apps, looks like they're going for a grimy, used, industrial sort of aesthetic for some of them.

 

Wow it's real! Now i can't wait to see how they did jet starscream, i've been dreaming for a new bigger version for years now, never even bought any other version except the generations armada one.

 

As far CHUG Screamers go, you haven't missed out on much except Classics.

 

If I was a betting man, I'd say it's what allows the trailer to connect to Prime.

FWIW, John Warden said the episodes that are inspiration for this trilogy are MTMTE, War Dawn, Call of the Primitives & The Rebirth, so I’d imagine this map will be completed by the end of the Earthrise line & show where they’re going next.

Also, I do love the look of this line but at the same time am slightly frustrated / conflicted HasTak seem to be changing direction so soon.

I TOTALLY understand more Prime’s / Starscream’s / etc are coming down the line, but I was hoping for more variety, maybe even give one of the big characters a year off like they've done with Bumblebee.

I’d probably have preferred 2 more chapters of Cybertronian modes then this, or better yet have this be how Siege could have started last year! Shockwave, Omega etc could have still been the same, but an Earth Soundwave/Ironhide/Ratchet etc would have been lovely. I’m sure some of these will get Earth modes soon, but I’d rather they already have that then we could get to Jazz, Blaster & other later characters that bit quicker.

 

I love the Prime\'s Look, but the Yellow Diaclone Eyes mess with me.

Oh i totally get it and hope to see Beast Wars get its due...i just dont want to see the only G2 Hasbro or Takara even sniffs at giving us be the G1 recolors that frankly are the worst of G2...G2 Bruticus has literally been the poster child for 'G2 bad' but weve actually gotten that deco TWICE in recent years lol. Meanwhile dozens of cool original characters with some solid gimicks have never seen an update.

 

Holy hollowness on Grapple.... I thought Hasbro downsized the figures in Siege to make them solid. Now Voyagers the size of old deluxes are getting hollow again?

 

You know what would be a big surprise but most likely won't happen.

If either after NYCC or Toy Fair, people would get early access to wave 1 Deluxes like how they did for Studio Series.

I get it. I am kind of in between. G1 is just at the earliest of my childhood. I have great attachment to the cartoon more so than the toys. I recently started some G1 collecting. In particular combiners. I am a great fan of those since I have "still have" my Computron. Which I got from my grandfather. I really can get behind figures like Soundwave " the lamppost mode" and Tetrajets. The cybertronianesque mode for Ultra Magnus and OP don't really do it for me. But that is pure the vibe I personally got. So these new earth modes are welcome. Yet a new Screamer so soon after the previous one. Odd.
