No damage paint? That\'s a plus. Also, that\'s a great looking design of grapple. There might be repaints coming down the pipe. Pyro or Artfire?

Oh so we’re doing this again, are we?

    Steelworks is neat, though.

Don't feel too bad most of my Season 1&2 cast are from PW3.

IMO such a great way to give us the Micromaster bases. Lets just hope the actual figures look as good as these pics, cause they all look fantastic to me.

I think the yellow eyes on optimus are only from the cgi model as the actual figure will hopefully have blue eyes

I would of called it reactived or something like that since these designs seem to be much more in line with the g1 designs.

If they ever did a g1 inspired cartoon or "reboot" Transformers Reactived would be a pretty cool name

Not as much straight up re-use on that prime as I expected. Looks like just the feet and shins? Lots of similar design bits but looks more like they just resculpted bits the CAD model (or whatever they sculpted this guy in) and made new tooling for most of it. Even the shoulders despite looking very similar have the articulation engineered differently. Weird that some stuff like the thighs and hips probably could have been reused too but they made new parts anyway.

i mean saving money or wishing the slot went to another fan favorite feels like a tame argument, as for me i never got siege op and this one looks good but honestly i dont see a reason for hasbro to release another traditional g1 prime after this one, what else could they do with them?

So war for cybertron is no longer cybertronian forms. Not only that, no cybertronian Wheeljack? I guess I'm ok with it.

Literally anything. They turned him into a train/dragon triple changer in Japan. If War for Cybertron is going to be a bunch of slavishly G1 figures...then afterwards can we pivot away and start doing some new stuff with the Generations line?

I was really in for that Prime until I saw how the trailer wheels folded out. That\'s a no for me.

If I was Hasbro I would use the yellow eyes because than you have to buy the Siege one and swap heads.

Will it? Siege was pretty well-received, and seems to have sold well. There's nothing I would say is chronically wrong with the figures, they're good toys. Say what you will about the price or battle damage, those are factors that change from person to person.

Hasbro is always going to make new figures of characters. The people who for some reason believe that whatever Hasbro is offering right NOW is the be-all-end-all are the ones causing this problem, not the toy company that is *gasp* making toys.

For a line that’s focused on transforming, it really doesn’t like to change.

This is such a disappointment, what a pathetic direction for this line to go. We really can’t have something new? Where did this company’s creativity go? Why did they get so lame?

Time will tell, but right now Im really thinking I may have to take a break from this company’s stuff. I’m mid-way through my thirties, I shouldn’t be wasting my time on things that don’t get me excited.

At least there’s still Iron Factory, I guess

I am most excited for Ironworks! Micromaster Stations are back and better than ever, they have robot modes and are weaponizers, hopefullythe rest of the stations get the same treatment.

Maybe there will even be a Commander Class Micromaster Countdown Base that has it's own robot mode, they are doing stations, why not bases also?

This could set a whole new president and give us original robot modes etx. The future is bright.

For me personally I found the Siege version's vehicle mode really ugly. I'd hoped it would be redeemed with a fun transformation, but was disappointed to discover that the transformation was almost as fiddly and order-formy as SS38. This looks perfect as Prime, and has a really nice truck mode to rival that of SS38. That said: I have no interest in the trailer, so I'll be holding off unless they do a release that's just the cab.

That's the thing though. Nothing is stopping them from doing bigger bases in the other size classes.

Yeah, this is a REALLY clever approach to the bases. I dig it quite a lot.
