I love that even though its looking better for the possible success of this figure getting made that the entertainment value of this thread is still strong.

Also, RD29 mentioned nothing about 3p in their post, and expressed it was their opinion...but white knight on...

 

What we're seeing right now is literally just low detail CG images of all those addons. I imagine the final products will look better.

Does anyone else think the new hands seem a little hollow for a $600 collectable?

 

I’m just glad we’re back to the “Hasbro is cooking the books” flavor of hater. Too many were getting a little repetitive with the kibble complaints, so it’s a welcome return to the classics

 

It was so awesome when they cooked the books a month ago to get this thing to 8000 and didn't need to extend the deadline.

 

As I said 600 pages ago, in years to come people are going to look back on this as an all time high/low in the history of this forum and the fandom.

 

Well they thought that they only had to do it the one time!!!

Honestly they could have done this better. Why not update the total number they've gotten EVERY DAY instead of doing ONE BIG BANG. That's what makes it look suspicious.

I was excited to see that Hasbro reworked Unicron's hands and then when I realized they didn't add joints to allow the fingers to splay open I was very disappointed.

This was one of my biggest complaints about this figure and it seems like such a missed opportunity to me. Yeah the hands are a bit better now but they aren't as good as they could be.

I backed this thing weeks ago but I'm not going to be super sad if it doesn't get produced. The Zeta was a lot smaller but they packed way better engineering and articulation into that figure and its hands were done better at a smaller scale. There's really no excuse why they couldn't make the hands better.

 

Except on eBay, there's a strategic reason to do that to prevent the price from escalating. On HasLab, people are just not thinking.

 

That’s ok. 3P will have gap fillers you can buy for it.


Does it strike anyone odd that they list the Hot Rod figure being how he defeated Unicron but he’s standing there in a generic guns down pose. The holding the matrix up pose would’ve been much better.
