Pay respects to all the people who wasted their time and money on Siege crap! Earthrise better have some non-G1 elements otherwise I'm good with just this Prime and Starscream(you better get him right this time Hasbro!).

 

Eh. I like Cybertronian modes more. Jetfire certainly isn’t a waste. I don’t think we’ll get a more G1 Megatron or Shockwave.

I hope Wheeljack and Jazz get Cybertronian modes here.

Looks to me like the pace of the story will give us Rodimus and Galvatron in part 3.

Awww I guess this means we won't be getting Cybertron Bumblebee and Wheeljack. That was my biggest excitement about the line!

 

I prefer Cybertronian modes for most characters.

 

I really want a Bumblebee. Hopefully it’s deluxe class because I already have the TR version

Yeah we'll get a Bumblebee based on the rumor of us also getting Cliffjumper. But I really was looking forward to some twist on his original Ep1 Cybertron design. It's one of the main reasons I was really invested, it seemed like such a unique way to do a G1 Bumblebee toy.

Basically one of two things will happen, either the toy will turn only into a Beetle-Earth-mode, or it'll do that while also having Shockwave-style attachments that turn him into the Cybertron look. But frankly that's just me holding onto a dream that I should have let go of ages ago. *sighs*

 

Defeats the purpose of this franchise but more power to you. That Line was definitely for characters like the 84 Decepticon cast anyways.

 

So what do we expect for WFC 3 then? My guess is the movie cast, Beast Wars, both, or just the idea of "THE FUTURE" past the 1984 cast.

Maybe the ‘86 cast, if they’re going where I think they’re going

 

I'm beginning to think that the WFC trilogy will overall covers the different time skips in the overall G1 continuity and not just focus on the 84 to 86 G1 characters. I mean think about it Siege is about the war taken place on Cybertron in the past then Earth Rise is about of course the war continuing on Earth so for all we know the 3rd part will take place in the future and will be about the end of the great war and introducing the Beast Era characters in it.

I mean Warden did say 2021 will be a big year for the BW era fans and that year happens to be when the 3rd part will be revealed so perhaps we have an idea of what the 3rd part will be about.

 

The success of the Siege line disagrees with that assessment.

 

I am most excited for Ironworks! Micromaster Stations are back and better than ever, they have robot modes and are weaponizers.

Does this change what @catz could have meant by the Commander will compliment Omega Supreme? Maybe it's a Commander Class Micromaster Countdown Base that has it's own robot mode, we can already see that Ironworks has attachment points for Omega Supreme.

This could set a whole new president and give us original robot modes etx. The future is bright.

 

But they going back to Earth modes even though they didn’t need to by your logic.

 

It could be about both the 86 and BW eras since if WFC is indeed doing time skip you can have it so that in the 3rd part it can basically be a transition period from the end of the Great War represented by the 86 cast to the Maximal and Predacon era represented of course by the Beast Wars cast. Not to mention it would celebrate both the 35th anniversary of the 86 movie and the 25th anniversary of BW which Warden made a comment about.

It'd be basically killing two birds with one stone.

 

Yeah, I am very surprised that they are going to Earth already, have Earth modes so soon yet the Trilogy is still WFC, that insinuates the WFC continues so HOPEFULLY we get a mix of Earth and Cybertronian modes, would seem like a MASSIVE waste to skip Cybertronian modes for Bee and Wheeljack etc
