The hips aren't very tight. Rest of the joints are alright. Didn't have the first edition anyway.

If I remember correctly PX-07 Triton (= Paddles) comes with translucent swords meant for Swoop.

Yeah, but I was really hoping that the reissue would have the correct swords so I didn't hafta pick a Paddles up. :(

Is the the regular or metallic version? I can't honestly tell.

He does, but will have to either sand down the inner fists or the hilts on the swords to allow him to hold em.

Hardly can tell but it's not exactly the same grey and clear orange.

Metallic. The normal ones had black missiles and fully painted swords I think.

Question. My copy of the rerelease has a loose shoulder. It’s loose enough that it can’t hold up its sword. What’s the best way to tighten up those shoulders?

Finally picked up Metallic Caelus. To my dismay the joints on this one are way much more loose than the original, non-metallic's release. Also the blades that it came with suffers from the same larger hilt circumference than the fist's peg can hold, akin to the replacement blades that came with Triton. Nothing a little sanding down won't fix. I am a tad concerned about the looseness though. Not sure that floor polish will work and I don't want to mess with a superglue compound.

Sorry to necro this thread, but after a failed purchase I had the seller send me metallic caelus instead (had an eye on him and Vulcan for a while, but was waiting for the other dinobots to get a confirmed metallic reissue before getting them). Unfortunately, the joints are as bad as other people said, the legs and wings being particularly loose, to the point that making him stand in robot mode is almost impossible. Did anyone find a fix for it? Does the old floor polish trick work?

lots of people put weird things like floor polish or superglue into the joints of their expensive, third-party figures. You run the risk of mutilating or discoloring your figure, or even just tarnishing it with goopy, unsightly boogers of residue. Use Kiki’s Fix Loose Joints— it’s specifically for action figures, cleans completely off the surface with water when it is wet, flakes off clean or washes out once it’s dry, won’t weld the joint or leave boogers everywhere, etc. You can get it on eBay or Amazon, I bought one bottle two years ago and it is still half full, it’s a wonderful investment.

Thanks for the tip! It's not available on Amazon jp but I found it on ebay, I'll order one alongside a metallic Vulcun next month. For the time being, I "fixed" it by inserting some thin strips of paper into the gaps of the leg joints. Not the most elegant of fixes, but at least Caelus can stand properly now :D

Sorry to Necro but I was rewatching fall of Cybertron cutscenes and it honestly kinda bothered me how off model PX’s Swoop is. He was their first release so I can’t blame them for him not being an engineering spectacle, but I almost wish they’d go back and redo him. Keep him the same size, just make him look more like the game. I’m not even bothered much by the robot mode, I like swoop being thinner, but his pterodactyl suffers from it, and is not as well done as the other Dinobots in their dinosaur modes. I hear ya, but it does seem like they took more cues from the concept art than from the in game model, maybe.

They def used the concept art when designing their figures. It's most noticeable on Jupiter: they did his hands blue instead of silver, and his head sculpt looks a bit off.

Concept art or not, Swoop's pterodactyl ain't accurate like the other dinos.

Very expensive for a little deluxe. The swords are so tight in the hand! Interesting that the metallic grimlock and snarl have metallic red paint but this is just plastic red. Overall nice member of the team. Now i’m waiting for sludge and slug.

Really want this guy but I have the original version of Vulcun. Don't really want to have one be metallic and one be normal.

Anybody know where to get the metallic version for a decent price?
