I seriously looked into getting Revan's, but they're all either: A. Too chunky/inaccurate B. Sell out in 5 secs I think the only way I'll ever get Revan's, is if we do get the rumored KOTOR series/movie, and Hasbro makes one for mass-market release.
I read that the Kylo Elite saber will have a Kyber crystal insert too? Now all of a sudden that one became a must have for me.
Working on putting together comprehensive list of things I am going to sell at the Junkion exchange, but if anyone here is interested I plan on selling a few Black Series lightsabers. I have Black Series 02 (Vader), 03 (ANH Luke) and 05 (ROTJ Luke). All include original packaging. Not sure of prices yet but open to offers.
Hah, that's funny. That's exactly what I did with mine. Gave it away to one of the movers during our recent move. Easily the weakest one of the line IMO.
Impressive collection! I'm charging up my OB4 (upgraded to Crystal Focus X) that I got in the mail last week. Taking it out of the box, it's a beautiful saber hilt and the first of my VV purchases. I also preordered the Hero Gen 2, VDR Gen 2, and Flex Gen 2 (standard hilts, no Kyber crystal reveal option). They should be headed to me in the coming months. Oh, and if anyone hasn't seen the Star Wars Reimagined SC 38 remade ANH lightsaber duel between Vader and Kenobi yet (it's up on YouTube), it's excellent and highly recommended!
I love my VV Wrath. I’m always swinging it around. It’s got its issues, but I get it. One of their first neopixels. I was all researched and set to make the purchase, then they added neopixels to their lineup. When I got it, there was a new patch for the software. The tech in these things upgrade faster than a phone.
Ok, so I'm buying my first lightsaber this month and I'm having the damnedest time choosing one in my price range. Those super high-end $400 ones are a no-go. Basically, I can spend $130 at most. It's mostly for decoration, but I will fool around with it from time to time. So far, these are what I've narrowed it down to, plus the new Ergoflex on the Pach Store. Which would you guys recommend, keeping in mind I'm likely only buying one lightsaber.
Yeah, the blade color swapping on the fly just by tilting the hilt slightly until you find the one you want, is just awesome. I'm following VV on the Facebook group but I admittedly don't use FB much these days.
Hey man! You still in Taiwan? I'm most likely heading back next spring break. I like the middle one with the leather grip of those three hilts but that's because I love the leather grip on mine.
I tried finding it in stores today but apparently it's online only. Didn't see it at Targets or GameStops. I'm kinda on the fence about it. I wasn't overly impressed with the Disney Parks one which I returned. It was just way too quiet. Is this one worth the $300 or should I just wait for it to go on sale?
Probably wait for sales. I personally won't buy it since I have my own crossguard, but it's the cheapest installed crossguard with individually addressed RGB strips and blaster effects.
I have the BS version of the Kylo which I like because it's nice a loud, but it really does have its negative points. I bought the Disney Parks one hoping to replace the BS one but the one I got was way too quiet and the blade connection wasn't on point so I returned it. I'm hoping this Elite one would be good enough to replace the BS.
@Razerwire Yep, still in Taiwan. 17 years and counting. Those are some nice sabers! I think I'm leaning towards either the one you mentioned or the Maverick v2 from Pach Store. But I'm also looking into the Makoto SSS. It's so tough to decide which one to get!
Decided to go with the Ergoflex with blue blade from the Pach Store. Not the fanciest, or most high-end, but I love the simplified Graflex look and it has all the features I want, including flash on clash. Now to play the waiting game...
So the Elite Kylo came in today. It was nice. Up until the point where the thing would ignite and then shut off by itself immediately after. I checked all the ports for the blades and the battery case and couldn't find what was wrong. So back it goes to Target. I have to say, as much as the first Black Series Kylo had its flaws, mine was and still is reliable at the very least.
