Is there a black and white cut of Three-Headed Monster I wasn't aware of? I thought they had switched to color two movies prior.

 

No just the Black and White pictures are.

 

All movies after Godzilla Raids again became fully color.

 

That's pretty awesome. King Kong is owned by Universal so I doubt they could (or even tried) to secure the rights. But I'm also waiting for that big amazing Criterion collection before I watch the Showa era again.

 

I just found out about the Criterion Collection yesterday.

Put my preorder in without hesitation, I couldn't miss out on this one. Especially since the Showa films I'm missing are extremely expensive to track down on DVD let alone Blu-Ray.

Only half the movies have dubbed options, which sort of bothers me, but I can live with it.

It said they are all high def. transfers is that a first?

 

Toho no longer allows any dubs they don't approve of to be released.

To go off subject for a moment, I liked this channel more when they would primarily do their "Everything Wrong with..." on legitimately flawed movies instead of, well, every movie. But whatever makes that ad revenue money, I guess.

Godzilla must have been tripping hard the first time Mothra died and she showed up on three days later  

 

Oh, come on!!! I would love to see that scene!!! T____T

 

The planned Mothra scene sounds beautiful. Still, I can understand that it needed to be shelved for bringing in Kong and MechaG.

I thought Signal Flare was the only transformable Maser Tank, but this is very different.

 

Loved when Kong had a Hulk moment and chickened out, but his manager insisted in the credits that he’ll be good in 2020. And that Godzilla just pointed to the Titans to make them bow (and two were from Stranger Things and Pacific Rim).

But my favorite part was when Eleven broke up the fight, and the pair’s “oh crap” faces with the big eyes. Really adorable to be honest.
