I didn’t place my preorder until a couple of weeks ago, and I don’t think they are objectively good figures without the rarity associated with them, so it’s not as big a deal to me that I lost out on them. But I would like to have them if they are made available domestically. And the apparent disregard for shipping out orders based on the date placed seems like a bad unforced error on Pulse’s part.

I really hope Pulse orders another production run of Noizu and Gurafi. It would seem there is enough demand to support it, and it would be the best way to defuse the serious reputational hit they are taking because of this issue and their handling of it.

 

This happened to me too... Pulse is complete trash as far as I'm concerned... I put in my preorder for the cassettes almost immediately after learning about them. I'm gonna cancel all my Siege preorders and just rock w bbts or tfsource going fwd. I can't believe they pushed the delivery date back so far and then I get this email it's ridiculous. Not to mention all the people who got nightbird instead of zetar... The ridiculously small window to get seacons... and the whole Unicron bamboozle which seems to be well on its way to failing miserably... For a fan focused brand store they are really blowing it. Never again. I'd rather spend an extra couple bucks at a store that has actual customer service.

 

Agree on all levels. I saw on fb some people posted their recent hasbro pulse deliveries, their toys were completely crushed, boxes torn up, no padding or care, no protection when they packaged them up. Oh well thanks hasbro pulse!

 

Maybe I'll just hold off on creating a Pulse account.

 

If you can believe this they have a 'premium' membership that costs $50 a year for........ I'm not quite sure what! I'm amazed at how badly they've botched this. I've ordered stuff blindly from shady Chinese websites that worked better than their fucking garbage website. I mean anyone with preorders, just go look at em. No image, the shittiest GUI possible, not even the NAME of the item, no accountability. They're fucking garbage.

 

You can forget bbts. Pulse made them cancel the Seacons. I see this happening to all theses.

I returned a PotP Predaking to Hasbro because it was delivered to me opened at the warehouse, the tape was cut and flap was opened, but the shipping box was sealed, and all they did was blame their shipping dept. Then I returned a Seige Optimus and Megatron that came crunched, and the Hasbro rep told me flat out they don't guarantee mint condition anything. Listed as a collectable or not.

 

Tfsource hasn't canceled em, my preorders are still there... I never even saw the seacons on bbts... But tbh who knows anymore...

In regards to your question, Hasbro has chose to make those Pulse exclusives for the time-being, initially they gave us the go-ahead to post the first round of listings, which we did, then they told us to pull the listings down temporarily for a few days, which we also did, and now it's been about a month since the initial listings were posted and they have not given us the go ahead and instead communicated with my Products Team that, at this time, will keep the Seacons as Pulse exclusives.

Just a heads-up as well, they are not selling those officially through any other suppliers so be wary of any store that says they'll be getting those figures as they may not be obtained through legal means/may not be officially licensed through Hasbro. So as of right now, we are not getting those yet but honestly, I'm fairly confident that Hasbro will make them non-exclusive after the initial hype has died down. Apologies for the inconvenience, I hope you're able to secure those items!

Very irritated. I got the cancellation email as well. Ordered August 25th. It would appear there is no rhyme or reason to whose got canceled.

It would likely behoove us as a community to complain.

 

Notice they've not sent out a mass email and I had to ask after the listings disappeared.

Everything 'pulse' or 'takara Tomy mall' is suspect to me now tbh

 

I feel like this should be front paged. Who do I contact? It be nice to have at least 1 news credit.

 

I love Transformers. I love collecting. But when it becomes a hassle more than it is fun, then what's the point? I'm slowing loosing interest in the hobby. I either can't get what I want or have to spend super mark up to get it. I can't do it anymore. Same for MotU. S7 pretty much ruined it for me and now Mattel has it back, even though they didn't handle it right to begin with. After Snake Mountain gets here I believe my MotU days are done.

 

Not a problem for me. I preordered from Pulse too when BBTS took down their listings. Worse case if Pulse cancels too, I'll just buy from someone here.
