It's a floor polish. The Pledge you can buy in Europe isn't the same as the one in the USA though. You can better get HG Product 77, which does the same and equally well.

Meh, to each his own. I personally like serious, methodical and analytical reviews (that's how I make mine), but many people like their reviews to be comedy sketches/pieces of entertainment in and of themselves. By creating a personality, reviewers make themselves stand out from the rest of the crowd and get people to watch the reviews for them instead of purely for the product.

    He really does (especially Hotrodimus)

It's either for the "shock value" or he really hates Hotrod(don't hate the character as he was a means to an end for Hb to introduce another set of toys which only backfired bigtime;) ). Also noticed how he edited some scenes to make transforming the opposite sides of MP44 seem like a snap. That's some mad skills if you noticed it the transition scenes. And he's a looney ecchi fruitcake to boot!
Reviews on my part anyways are like my justification to get(if or not POed) or skip. Or to validate what I already expected or know of the figure.

You guys with issues with JobbyTheHung. Dude is hilarious. you just don't understand his gimmick.

He has a huge love for all things geek oriented, Dude collects tons of lines of stuff and isn't limited to just one thing.

As for his review of MP-44. I totally agree with everything he said. I enjoy reviewers that aren't afraid to speak their minds while tossing a lot of humor into it. It's a fun and entertaining review. Just as he is a fun and entertaining reviewer.

his reviews for the Frame Arms Girls are hilarious as fuck.

If you want totally low key but insightful reviews, stick to Peaugh. If you want super boring and whiny review watch Optibotimus. If you want sincere, entertaining and funny reviews watch JobbyTheHung.

    Anyway...

    Back to licking MP-44 Photos.

I literally have no words for Jobby nor should I judge the fella. But ecchi fruitcake really well... sums it up correctly? :lol .
Back on topic: the reason why I have not posted any pics of my MP44 is not because it's knees are busted beyond repair.. but the fact that so many of my highly respected TFW2005 boardies have much better pics and posts on MP44 that put me to shame. Lol.

I still love how the fake windows are just the real windows on the other side. In an ideal world you could do both styles but it’s still a super creative idea.

    my opinion on Jobby's review?
    I don't give a shit.
he can put it into his butt.
    and, obviously...
    500 $

(insert the mother of all facepalms gifs here)

    look! i'm funny and hironyc!!!

P.S.: jokes apart, i find some of his arguments exxagerated or missing the mark.
i.e., what's with all the "normie" thing?
MPs are not for "normies" at all. They're the epitome of a die hard collector line.
I also find his opinion a little biased based on the subject: Go back i.e. at his Dinobot review. So, Dinobot's exploding transformation is fine and wonderful, while optimus' is hell on earth (call the doomguy then ...)? CMOOON!

    and well, 500 $ obviously!

if your copy suffers loose joint, i'd recommend using nail polish if you can't find Pledge. it works, and its cheap.

It doesn’t necessarily apply to G1 MPs. MPM-4 works because he had kibble in the right place and was flat on his back so modifying it to be more accurate wouldn’t be as difficult. MPMs are Has/Tak products and MPM-4 is already a complicated figure, they likely didn't go the further with making him more accurate since that'd bring costs up and make transformation more hard since MPMs are aimed towards international audiences.

For G1 MPs, you can get the shape and look close to the cartoon model but it can never be as clean as the cartoon, since that was drawn simplistically while the movie designs have details based in reality. The back of movie Prime is actually made out of parts of the truck. G1 Prime from the toon just forms a backpack out of nowhere so how would you do that cleanly? You can't use a faux backpack or parts-form it like with MP-29, he's sort of an exception.

The latest MPs aren't rushed to compete with third parties, explain MP Hound many years after his 3P counter-parts or the lack of any original 3P Bee. Prime had competition because TT had announced it and a new version was a long-time coming. Also, there's no way you should consider MP-36 or MP-44 rush jobs after transforming them once. Clearly a lot of time and thought when into engineering those figures.

    So much this.

I rarely feel the need to “defend” TT on these boards, but these MPs are definitely no rush jobs. A few questionable design choices? Sure. Rush jobs? I don’t think so. In fact although aesthetically the Mp3.0s are “plain”, the attention to detail has been impeccable imho. Like
Georgii10235 said if you’ve transformed them in hand, it wouldn’t hard to see they are clearly labor of love by the designers.

Btw I don’t wanna be that guy but personally, if I don’t like a particular official figure, I’d rather not buy it, put the money somewhere else, than buy an “improved/modified/whatever you wanna call it” K.O; however “superior” they are to the official design. I worked as a design engineer myself and there’s not a lot things I hate more than stealing someone’s design that they worked hard on.
