Starscream's eulogy is priceless. I love this series and love watching it with my kids.

I'm starting to really warm on the series now with season 2. Hot Rod is pretty great.

why is lockdown just an incredibly generic lackey? how did they butcher him that bad, and at that point why even bother using lockdown?

 

You can find most of the series already using other sources (just waiting on the last 2 episodes). Looking forward to hearing what people think about Croaton...

 

I guess they gotten too far into development to take an U-turn? Honestly, it be interesting if they used the model for Axor first, considering he was depicted once as an lockdown fanboy. That could work as an callback to the Hunt for the the Deceptions incarnation.

It IS kinda weird that they depict the lone bounty hunter with this goon duo direction. Like i said, it be better if Lockdown's model was used for someone like Axor/Axer first.

 

Geez, this show is still awful awful in the VA and dialogue department, and storywise it still sucks and is just illogical.
For what purpose is Megatron trying to convince the humans that the cons are sad that Starscream is gone? Why is he trying to convince them of anything since the cons hate humans anyway? And why does he think his lackeys have the ability to kill Prime when not even he has had such luck?

The only good thing I can say is that the 10 minute runtime has been working a bit better this season.

I mean, the con's are already established to be hell-bent villainous invaders. That kind of propaganda is not meant for humans as its audience. It's stupid.
And why is the Nemesis just parked out in the open as if it's no big deal?

 

When was it Established, we haven't seen what the Humans think. So far the Humans have not observed anything first hand, they get second hand Information form the Autobots and Decepticons.

The Nemesis is parked there because, Politics are complicated. Also this show has Obvious signs of getting things cut, and hasty rewrites. There will be loose threads, and plot holes because of time, and budget. You can see the wasted potential, but still an improvement to season 1.

 

Especially if this is set in the modern day, where Politics are as hectic and messy as ever, then I can totally see the Humans still not having a clue on how to deal with the Autobots or the Decepticons. Like you said, we don't even really know how much the Humans know, beyond what we've seen them observe (And all signs point to them viewing both Bots and Cons in the same category). And in Politics, how often do two sides in a war refer to the other as evil? If the Autobots straight up say the Cons are the villains, whose to say we should believe them with so little information? IDW showed us what it'd be like to see the Humans not tolerate either side after All Hail Megatron went down, and then all the politics that followed that. Bumblebee showed us that if the Cons got to the Human Government first, they could convince them to side with them instead. Hell, look out our own history of Politics, and you can see how non-black and white it all can be.

The show has certainly gone up in quality. I think it's a charming show, and I find myself chuckling at the jokes from time to time. It's clearly not aiming for the stars, and I think that's fine. It's just a fun, 10-minute at a time adventure.

 

I mean, if the Decepticons are shooting up cities and people, I don't think people would exactly quick to support them. A movieverse approach is most likely, tbh, since humanity tends to have a fear of the unknown.

 

Better than the last episode. And somehow, "female Lugnut" works REALLY well IMHO.

 

That’s a good question. Everyone else is more or less a fairly typical depiction of the character, but Lockdown could not be more different.

 

Why is Lugnut not called Lugnut?
