Some pics I put in dynamic poses, but they are all Magic Square Prime, so I figured I'd throw them here too. Had this fella since he released and he's still one of my very favorites to play with.

Somehow I've never seen that guy's reviews before and I didn't know I needed them in my life until now. Quite an amusing take on MP-44. I was sort of hoping his had knee issues out of the box for the sheer comedic value :D

Yes, the screws are painted in this TE-01.

Hmm, I didn't even notice. Do you think using epoxy would be a good way to smoothen out the limbs ?

For the screw holes I suppose so, although I have never done it, I don't know how it will look exactly.

Apoxie Sculpt, as in fill in the screw holes throughout the fugure, then paint over it.

Yes, that's what it could be worth, but for everything you've covered in the leg in your image I don't think so. For that it would have to be that someone designed pieces to cover the gaps and print them in 3d.

I did come across some mouldable rubber glue about a year or so back, which came in different colours (no idea which colours tho, as i only tried red and black) - in all fairness it didnt stick things together that well and was a bit messier than they claimed but it did make a good coloured rubber like filler on 1 occssion i tried it for this use (non transformer use). Just found the box and it was callled sugru.

I've ended up with three copies of TE-01 - one V1 and two V3s - and did so with the intention of having the latter two in robot and alt mode and selling the V1. Now I'm thinking I'll keep that for the novelty value and because it's nice to have a little variation between the two. So I guess I'll be selling off one of my V3s!

I ordered the V3s before I caved on MP-44, so I now have too many Primes!

I'm not sure you can have too many Primes!

I really love all 4 options for different reasons. As much grief as MP-10 gets nowadays, it's still a great looking Prime. Not toon accurate, but I'm having a really hard time parting with it.

I do think that MP-44 is the best looking of all 4 when it comes to the combination of aesthetics, articulation, and proportions, However, I'd be hard pressed to say it's THAT much better than the other options currently available. Saying this, I'll probably buy-in on the re-release if they fix the knee issue and make sure the antennas are straight. I know both are fixable, but I'd like both to be good to go out of the box.

I have both MS and TE also and think that they're great "stand-ins" for anyone that doesn't want to go all in on a $350 MP-44. What a great time to be an MP collector.

I pre-ordered Sleeping MS, so I will then have TE and MS.

MP-44.....I'll get it when the price cuts in half or less in a couple of years.

Hello mates, I'm not a Masterpiece collector (I only have a tiny handful of MP quality figures of characters I like) but I am joining you lot on this one and have ordered TE01. MP44 was never in the running because of its price (I have a young family and I can't afford it). I prefer the look of both MS and TE anyways but I've gone with TE. Can't wait for it to arrive. I don't think anyone can lose with any of the choices available.
