A rough rule of thumb is that the length of the alt-mode is usually close or equal to the height of the robot mode with several obvious exceptions like Lockdown and Starscream.

So for example, Bumblebee is 16ft tall while his Camaro is 190 inches long (15.83 ft)

Optimus is 28ft tall while his Peterblit is 350 inches long (29.16 ft)

Sentinel has a vehicle length of 466.5 inches (39 ft). I'd say that with that in mind he would be likely closer to 35ft than 30.

Then again, Optimus never size shifted but his AOE truck mode is 505 inches long so...

Either way all I want is for SS Sentinel to be at least the same size Evasion Mode or TLK Megatron, as at the bare minimum Sentinel should be that tall. I can accept if he doesn't turn out the same size as Megatron since he'd look pretty off with SS 32/44 anyway.

 

That's the Iron Warrior 05 Pioneer model kit. It can't transform and is meant to look as accurate as possible to the Transformer's Prime OP model

Yeah and some 3P company just showed off this week another toy (of prime from tf prime) that looks even better.........that DOES transform!

So nobody buy that model kit (which is supposed to be not great in quality).

 

So I have HA Jazz, SS Jazz and soon will have MPM Jazz. Can't wait!

Also, it is a bit fragile, but it's not bad per se. You just have to be aware of what you're getting.

An MP Prime Prime figure would be amazing, but honestly just an OS ko of the first edition toys would be enough atm

Megatrons truck + trailer were bigger than i remembered, but i still think Sentinel should be a Leader Class.
In the scene on top of the building Sentinel was definetly too big, but i do think he should be 32 or 33 feet tall, as 30 feet seems too short.

And Sentinel should include his rust gun, and a pile of rust and tires he can stand next to.

 

NYCC is next week. I don't expect any new stuff coming after Soundwave, Mixmaster or Shockwave yet. But I predict an exclusive or SS48. What do you think it is?

So, I went to Target today to browse the TF isle like I usually do, and decided that I wanted to buy a Siege Starscream since I’m gonna build the RotF Game cast. So my dad and I went up to the cashier to buy it, and when the stone-faced cashier went to scan it, he said that it wasn’t supposed to be sold until October 6th. I don’t really follow the Siege line that well, but I’m pretty sure he’s been out since like March. Hell, I’m pretty sure the Starscream we took to checkout was the same one I saw last week. So yeah, that was pretty annoying. Sorry if this isn’t really the place, but I don’t really know where I would post this. Has this happened to anyone else?


Also here’s RotF Starscream crying that he doesn’t have a G1 counterpart to keep it related to movie toys.

Watched DotM again today, although it’s been a while since last viewing. Devcon really caught my eye this time as one of those (imo) awesome unique enemy designs. Reckon there’s any chance we could see him in the SS line? He’d make a fine large Voyager/ Leader class figure once all the Decepticon leaders are covered at the end of the constructicon figures.

Who will win, and why?

 

A Leader would be amazing. But I'm worried his unorthodox, non-humanoid design would make him fall into what I call the "Lugnut trap" that's, well.. trapped Bonecrusher, Long Haul, and Scavenger.

Anyway I saw this video yesterday of someone's custom Devcon and you could color me impressed. I don't see any familiat parts on him, so that'd make him a total scratch build. Crazy talent went into him, that's for sure.

 

I'd prefer we get a leaders class sentinel just so we can get a piller, his rust gun, his primax blade and his sheild

 

Wasn't there a rumour a while back that the next exclusive was going to be a evasion repaint of SS38?

 

I can’t wait to see the stop motion videos that come out of Devastator. It’s been a long time coming.

 

I mentioned a couple of days ago that I impulsively bought at Studio Series ROTF Starscream.

Well, I had some time to play around with him tonight.

Overall, I like him a lot. I can understand why this deco isn't very popular and even after messing with his version I contemplated picking up the '07 version but I'm happy enough with this for now. His joints are nice and tight and he truly is the most articulate Starscream figure we've ever gotten.

He also has the best flight stand integration I've ever seen on a Transformer.

 

Not purely movie, but man did I enjoy taking these.
