TBH, I skipped Siege Screamer because a part of me knew that they would eventually make an Earth Version.

 

Cybertronian Jackie...hopefully. I can’t wait to see these guys.

 

If Deluxe Hoist is Ironhide-sized, than I'll be mighty pleased with the sizes of the Hoist/Trailbreaker and Grapple/Inferno molds relative to each other and others. Hoping the Deluxe Cliffjumper is Legends-sized but with plenty of accessories to make up the difference. Slightly annoyed that we're getting an Earth-mode Starscream after giving into the idea Siege Cybertronian Starscream would be The New Seeker Mold, but aside from Screamer himself, Skywarp, and Thundercracker, I don't think they're gonna be redoing any of the ones on the Siege mold since they don't need Earth jet modes and they'll primarily be doing ones that do need an Earth jet mode, so I'm not too annoyed. Glad we're still getting Micromasters, too. Wheeljack I'm very excited about, and am very very glad they're doing an Optimus with trailer, whether the Optimus figure is an unchanged Siege Voyager Optimus or an update of it with more Earth-ish vehicle details.

 

Serious question to ponder... If the new ‘Earth mode’ Starscream is indeed a G1 Starscream with a G1 Earth plane mode (& not Armada Starscream etc) then surely it can’t be long until we get others like ‘Earth mode’ Soundwave or Optimus or the like?

And if that is the case, I wonder if that’ll hurt some of the other big characters coming down the pike who do have Cybertronian alt modes, with some gambling on the possibility of an Earth one 12 months later?

(For the record this isn’t meant as a criticism as much as something to ponder. I personally didn’t buy Siege Starscream, with me preferring the Classics design, so I will probably pick this up, but others may have a different view)

 

I’m ready to collect 6 seekers(cone heads please) all over again if they finally get the earth mode right. Also..hoist and trail breaker finally. I’m ready to let go of the classics, or repaint them. I’m ready for Wheeljack to!!

 

This is what my money is on. The prototype hinted at the ability to become a super mode torso.

 

New Hoist AND Grapple? My favorite pair together in the same line! Hope they are the traditional vehicles instead of Cybertrony.

Leader Optimus with trailer sounds promising. What will the play feature be? Would they make a classic opening trailer? What about Roller?

 

If there’s gonna be a Siege Cliffjumper... you know what that could mean.

I’m kinda amped we don’t have to wait 3+ years to get back to earth modes. Strike while the Siege Iron is hot. Get the regulars out of the way, that way they can give those slots to other needed characters(Inferno\Skids\Tracks\) when Earth Wars returns in full swing.

 

You know @Jtprime17 You seem to find a lot of these listings and pictures, maybe think about a career in being a Spy.

Now lets see if you can find pictures of these before NYCC.

 

Wonder if an Earth-mode Soundwave would be too much to ask. They'd just have to retool the current one!

I'm going to buy earth Starscream. I dont really like Siege starscream.

 

Grapple has to be pretty damn good to win me over, I still like the RTS version a lot.

 

That's the dream for me, I gotta say   Although I'd prefer the super mode Autbot leaderswe don't already have (Star Saber and the anime Primes) to be Commanders.

Yay Wheeljack, Yay Cliffjumper, yay possible Micromaster playsets. I have Siege Starscream and the rainmakers, if they are really doing Siege SS rescuplted as an Earth mode already, I will probably pick whichever set has the largest team and collect that. If the teams are split (Coneheads, Sunstorm have only Earth modes, others have only Tetras) I wouldn't mind that. But I am not collecting all the seekers twice.

I don't mind them doing F-14 seekers already, but if it's more than just SS this seems really fast. I would hope to get coneheads in either version before we start getting tetra jets that are still available re released as F-14s though.

 

Tbh I don't think we were ever going to get those anyway.

 

Since Siege Red Alert's only molding difference from Sideswipe was his shortened horns with no other retooling to distictify the two to match their animation models, I'm curious as to whether or not they'll design Hoist with a future Trailbreaker in mind based on cartoon designs (in other words, base Hoist on Trailbreaker's design).

The two looked very different in the G1 cartoon, with Trailbreaker being more stylized and sleek compared to his toy and Hoist being nearly identical to his.

I'm stoked for that Earth-mode Starscream, though!

 

The fact that they'd do Cliff first before Bee does make me question the validity of this info, though it would certainly be an interesting change of pace.
