Make no mistake folks, in the renders I just reposted, you can tell they are still using the shells of the cars on the arm cars, but they did resize them slightly. As they said they would.

    But just slightly.

Man... I wish I could get those toy versions too, but I am up to my ass in Stunticons already. LOL.

Quick Render of what the Toon deco MAY look like. (I did not use a source file, so it's no where near 100% toon accurate).

G1 toy inspired Menasor looks. I do think there might be some shells used at the legs; the wheels of the carbots stick out of their chassis in leg mode unlike it does when they are not in leg mode.

I think the above shows why the toy version looks better (IMO). The toon version has a big square slab of black in the middle that just serves to accentuate the size of the upper body relative to the legs.

Man, I am just scared to think about the price of toy Gravestone though.

I get 50, but that's close enough. So Flipout comes out to about 14.5 cm:
    flipout length.jpg

I guess looking at the old renders that were posted, Crackup and Flipout actually dip below the ankles, so Flipout is roughly 3.33 squares (taking into account that he's in an A stance):
    berserkar grid.jpg
So 14.5 cm equals 3.33 squares, meaning a square is roughly 4.35 cm. Again, adjusting for the fact that he's in an A stance, Monolith is about 11.5 squares to the top of his actual head (not the antennae) So yeah, 4.35 x 11.5 comes out to about 50 cm. Which, I'm fine with that height.

of course there's shells. It's been known from the get go. the renders clearly show the leg shells including fake wheels. :)

I also have a feeling if the renders are anything to go from, that he won't have poseable feet. sure there's ankle rockers, but that's probably it. Looks like another bad case of Transformission A-Stance only Syndrome.

I wouldn't call those shells per se, more a very short cradle with fake wheels sticking out the back of the leg to cover the wheels of the alt modes.

I honestly like them colored. it matches up with how I used to pose the G1 toy back in the day. I'd extend the limbs to make it appear taller and the arms longer.

I wonder if they'll give the bottoms of those grey areas on those arms painted details like on the shins.

I hope he is! It’d be nice to see some posing!
But they confirmed the shells would be gone?

Is it the calves? Because the arms look minimal. Very minimal.

I must descent... AHEM... Let me try that again... this isn't a post about the final Samhain album.

That is to say... I mean "I must dissent".

Having Zeta's Aerialbots and Combaticons, and TW's Constructor...

...after purchasing these four, and patiently awaiting Gravestone... I will feel quite "salty" if these guys are only 45cm when combined.

Even at 49cm, he'll be a little smaller than my other combiners. But at 45cm, he won't be much taller than FT Phoenix.

    C'mon 49cm... Truthfully, I wouldn't mind 51cm... I don't know how that's possible, but then... I'm no engineer.

    Cheers!

FT has you covered for that. But truthfully I just want a Menasor that looks good next to OM Assaultus.
