I wouldn't mind a voice box long as it's an attachable backpack, which could have been easily done with MP44 with that jetpack.

I reject the whole minibot thing. As I've posted many times before, the minibots were "mini" only because of the molds they just happened to use at the time. G1 was a big mish mosh of previously existing figures from multiple different lines. And nobody back then knew the line would even be a success, just look what happened to Gobots & most of the other 80's cartoons & toy lines. Majority crashed & burned by the second wave. A bunch of different toy lines like Macross & Diaclone were all just tossed together. The minibots could have just as easily been regular Autobot car size if they wanted to go that way.

That's my personal opinion & I have the right to it & it hasn't changed in 35 years. Minibots are stupid & don't make any sense. The minibots need to be updated to properly scale with the regular Autobot cars. There is no reason to keep them mini forever. And Warpath, Cosmos & Powerglide need to be no smaller than voyager class.

Siege Commander class Jetfire standing next to legends class Powerglide somehow looks good to you guys. To me that makes no sense! Unless Powerglide transforms into a radio controlled toy & not an actual A-10. The only minibot that actually works as a minibot is Beachcomber. A little Dune Buggy. Bumblebee doesn't even work, Studio Series deluxe VW Bumblebee is my G1 CHUG Bumblebee (I just need to order a G1 head with the proper faceplate like the original toy, not that goofy looking idiot with the human face from the godawful cartoon). The big Universe Powerglide is the only Powerglide they ever made that is worth a damn IMO. Warpath needs to be big, the same size as Megatron & Bludgeon & every other character that transforms into a tank. So this is the best version of Warpath out there. I don't collect Masterpiece. This version of Warpath fits in better with my CHUG collection. CHUG deluxe Warpath is way too small IMO. And I don't care about the cartoon, the drawing & artwork in the cartoon is absolutely horrible IMO. I only care about the toys. I want a big Warpath, around voyager scale that transforms into a tank that looks like his G1 alt mode. And this one fits the bill!

It's funny because G1 was a big tossed salad of different toy lines all mixed together but now God forbid somebody mixes CHUG with Masterpiece & Studio Series. That taboo, blasphemy, sacrilege! Everything has to perfectly copy the G1 cartoon. It's the only way to collect Transformers. :rolleyes2

the whole point of the MP line is to make them like their respective shows. I prefer them to be the sizes they were in the show. should we get them to make bruticus all to correct scale? we've all seen how that would work out. It's a cartoon, not the real world. Should they have to update the MP beastwars line to correct scale then too? you can like what you want, and ARE entitled to your opinion.

All of which is based on the toy line being a mashup of different lines, BUT then you use that same logic to justify mixing different lines together.

    Bold strategy, Cotton.

Totally support your display decisions btw, I mix them up all the time, but no need to call people fucking stupid for their wants. I like my minibots to be minibots. I don't give two rats ass whether they're "based on" vehicles match up to scale.

I had a feeling the "dummy" remark was well placed. So... back to Thomas, it sure would be cool if they snuck him in before CNY. :)

Yup, don't have him on preorder, but definite buy once available. Very glad FT is getting more into the minibots, just hope they don't keep us in the wind with them. I wouldn't mind a in between combiner bot release schedule for those of us not buying stunticons or aerial bots.

I think Sheridan looks nice and I hope that everybody who wants one is happy and anybody that doesn't want one can find something else they like.

Its been a while since i got to read through a scale argument and also get a Transformers origin story. So refreshing, didn't feel like tfw for a bit. Did you also know that the size of the characters varied from episode to episode? I mean, one time Bruticus was the same size as a regular Deception! Whats up with that?

New paint scheme makes all the difference in the world with this and Brawn.

I wonder how these guys are going to match up with the Badcube minibots in a line up? Not much for scale but I do have a bunch of the mini bots on a shelf together and FT's Brawn and Warpath are sadly replacing the BC versions. The other "mini" bots I'm good with but those two are a little off from what I'd rather I had on display. I *think* Ft's Brawn in 5 inches? I haven't measured BC's Brawn yet.

I don't let scale or collection class stop me from put figures in my collection either. I have a bunch of UW sets with add-on's for most of my combined characters and then MP versions of the bots on display together. I picked up that old Predaking that BBTS has for $100 to display him in combined mode. All I care about is it looks like that character to me and displays well. I really don't care that they're not really Masterpiece (which almost all of my display is).

eh, maybe they will release a cel version where all of the character lines will be removed for the "toon accurate or be damned" crowd. personally, I like it the way it is.

You don't have Wardog then, right? That thing's got way more surface "detail" than Sheridan.

I agree there's too much detail. I'm happy with my Final Victory Warpath.
