Another interesting thing is, look how big that driver is. Shaq must be driving it.  

That's why I think all 3rd Party Dragstrip figures shouldn't come with holo drivers. it kinda makes him look off when displayed with the other cars because of it. in my X-Trans Dragstrip, I don't even use that part. looks better without it. IMO.

 

It's a material test type. FT uses a lot of metallics and mix blend surface treatments in their work so makes sense a raw shiny test version of one of their toys would exist.

 

Breakdown on a takedown!

 

i have a feeling Fanstoys produces 100% and they release 40-60 first run. This builds excitement and they they can release the rest of stock. They seem to always re-release. I doubt they have a factory ramp up for another run of a fig. Seems to expensive. They are a smart company. Better to make all then hold product back to build excitement.

I’m sure some have no been new runs, but I have a hard time believing this is always the case but I doubt it bumps a place holder.

... but armor 2.0 looks so fun! I get to keep the look of solstice armour and get perks from another! It’s even closer to an rpg now.

Also, Magnum toons great btw. Looking forward to get this in the future. Sadly, only getting the limb bot with combiner parts for now, since life is getting in my way 

 

lol, well I'm going on a cruise on the 14th of October so that might be where my hype machine is currently providing hype for. I dunno..I burned myself out on the grind this past season with so many things to try to get done (3 crucible pinnacle weapons done - including Luna, 2 seals, all Menagerie stuff, flawless raid runs, Iron Banner, Solstice). I've got a ton of mats ready to get those 2.0 armor pieces I've missed since year one though, Plus I recently re-discovered my love of these toy robots...so..lol

And yeah, I've gone from having none to a whole bunch including road king, spoiler, and maverick in a month or so...yeah my wallet is currently on fire.

augh ... that transformation was painful on the finger tips. I highly recommend a plastic spudger, you're going to need it going from bot to alt and back. Twisting that lower waist was incredibly scary as mine was super tight. He's so compressed and tabbed/locked in alt mode it's almost a puzzle trying to figure out HOW to unlock him and transform him back to bot mode:

 

Well, given Wildrider's back kibble, no one should be complaining how anorexic he looks. Only thing I don't like is the mirrors just hanging on the back of his arms.

 

I agree. I get some don't like it but it's part of the coherent FT style at this point and I like the look.

 

Ha! I was also grinding for the solstice armour for my hunter. Ended up with 9 helmets and finally one with a decent roll. Gauntlets still useless though. Also, PC.

Yea, I get that these combiners by FT aren't exactly cheap lol, but they look great

 

Some parts are ultra tight but only require to undo the screw a little bit. It's like FT uses construction and war grade automatic nasa screwdrivers for these things.

I really admire the effort FT put into clear plastic headlights and flip-up+plastic headlights where applicable. That was a missed opportunity by XTB.

 

Other way around. The real P34 is TINY. Think go-kart. It's the CAR that doesn't scale right to the others.




Looks about right to me, for "normal-sized human driving a P34". Heck, if anything, the holo-driver needs to be even bigger---helmet looks a bit small compared to real life.

For all the guff the Combaticons and Protectobots get regarding "limb scale", the Stunticons and Aerialbots always get ignored, even though they too have limbs with alt-modes half the size of their other limbs. Dragstrip doesn't scale with the others. Slingshot doesn't scale with AirRaid.

Nailing it. I can see wanting to display these in all 3 modes. So excited to see how combined works.

I am thinking in a few months we will see the next two combiners, hopefully it's a combiner with a counterpart like the Stunticons and Aerialbots. We need a FT Combaticons and Protectobots to squash OM hopes and dreams lol.

Possible but didn't they show that Devastator silhouette a few years back? The Toyworld combined mode looks great but the individual bots need justice done to them as well.

 

They did, but they are probably thinking there is Devastator fatigue but I can only imagine what a FT individual bots would look like and with what they are doing so far it will be quite the treat.
