Trust me the hand hygenie (or lack of it) is even worse with miniature reviewers, especially as most of them paint too. Except GallantGoblin - he is a real professional.

Worse than that. With taxes and shipping it is over $900.00 CAD. My order came to $695.58 USD with shipping and taxes (Quebec). That's sitting at $921 CAD right now.

Can we all blame Zeta for the guy who had to cancel his Unicron order because of a broken axle?

Prove me that Zeta isn't responsible for the climate change... They're making toys from oil-based plastics.

I keep checking the numbers too. Perhaps it's like the old adage, "a watched pot never boils"? ;)

Seriously though... Several weeks of minimal movement is troubling.

It's interesting to me seeing that while I'll be seeing this crowdfund to the end, I've seen my self not being so invested in it's success anymore. At first, he was a necessity, but the drama we've had (extension, zeta, lack of interest from Hasbro to have a voice) has made unicron's arrival sorta muddled. Bring on Unicron! ... or not. October can't come soon enough, or at least a word or two from Haslab.

The counter only matters at the end. I did myself a favor and stopped checking it every day, usually getting word of it on this thread.

Zeta has already proven this is nonsense. Theirs needed some work on planet mode, and size, but it was far more accurate than the Hasbro shellformer. Odds are that one could have been done in the $450 range.

Unicron toys just have no luck. The original G1 was never produced, the BW Neo Unicron was never produced, we got an Amarda version finally, but now looking like this one wont get produced (if it doesnt make its goal) and even a 3rd party version isnt going to get produced now..

Yep. I agree with this. My excitement has waned...considerably. Not so much in this Unicron. I still want this figure, but in the project itself. I check this thread less. I reply less. I check the Haslab page less. I'm not pulling my backing (and still may back a second unit), but I'm not nearly as jazzed. I still do not believe Hasbro has done a good job marketing this project. I'm not asking for freebies or other inclusions. A regular flow of information (more pictures, Q&A's, teasers, etc.). Now, I just want the close date to come. Success or failure.

This will be funded, no matter how many times Hasbro has to push back the deadline, pressure online retailers to pre-order or use shill accounts to make it happen.

They are already way too invested in this project to let it fail.

Yeah, I was sold on his non-review stuff. I really liked the video he did suggesting that collectors create a database of their collection with prices and sales information to be used by survivors in the event of the collector's death. That was really smart since a lot of people's significant others or family members have little knowledge of how much it might be worth. That was a valuable video idea that I had never seen anyone else mention.

To be fair as well, I've only really seen one of his TF reviews, (a 3rd Party Shockwave vs MP Shockwave) and admittedly it did seem pretty biased.

Is "Thanks Zeta" 2019s new "Thanks Obama." :D
