I've got two options for that, as of now. Either Cog or Starscream/the seeker mold. Cog because he's not that great as a standalone figure, and only really gets the most enjoyment as an accessory pack rather than a figure. Bit of a weird case though as he's a fun accessory pack, but seems to have few people praising the merits of him being a standalone release. The seeker mold is probably my unpopular opinion, but I just think it's incredibly weak with little merit to it. It's yet another "robot that barely folds up under a plank of alt mode" that so many of the jetformers suffer from, and unlike the Combiner Wars ones, I can't justify it due to having another gimmick to squeeze in. I was honestly planning to skip it entirely, but a friend really wants Acid Storm, so I said I'll go in for Ion Storm. Honestly can't understand how it's being so well received. I literally think it's one of those "There's nothing better on the market for this" situations. People want a Voyager tetrajet apparently and want it that bad. I think due to that, I'll rank Screamer and the seekers as my personal pick for the stinker of Siege.

To me (and that's just me being me LOL) any figure with that "hole" in the forearm (ex.: Sideswipe, Soundwave, the upcoming Apeface) qualifies as weak. That feature is unacceptable in my opinion. There should be engineering to cover that. Even MP Bumblebee suffers from that.

Silver paint is overrated. They get scratched too easily and oftentimes are too inaccurate to be worth the vulnerability. Cars in real life tend to be more of a bright grey than metallic silver anyways.

The design of ss devstator is already a massive clusterfuck and I enjoy things that look stupid because with a perfect or mediocre figure all I can say is “well that’s pretty good” but with a figure that looks stupid I can laugh at how stupid it looks. This is why I love stuff like cybertron runamuck and cybertron backstop

For me, it has to be chromia, loved her when I first got her, but the closer I looked, I saw a kibbly figure, that was weak in both ways. After a couple of months of posing and transformation, one of the clear bits snapped on me. then again, I am very rough with my figures, and I do apply more force than necessary, I still believe that casting a blue part in clear plastic is stupid. But I digress, with the kibble pack taken off, she looks good in the back of my shelves.

Wow. I didn't even think of Chromia. That design base skeleton hasn't appealed to me since the first iteration of it from Power of the Primes, so I guess she kinda fell into obscurity in my mind for a bit there, haha. Okay, with that in mind, I'll join in with my rankings as:

3: Cog - Just due to being somewhat lackluster on his own and more one you buy to enhance the others.
2: Chromia/Nightbird - The mold's base design is forgettable and riddled with design issues. Only got to number two because I am still tempted to grab Nightbird and experience the mold first hand.
1: The Seeker mold - Chromia is forgettable, but this mold I just cannot fathom being so well received and wouldn't have even had intention of trying it first hand if a friend wasn't really itching to get Acid Storm if he can have someone go in with him. (Loves the colors, and he's a good enough bud that I'm more interested in helping him get it than I am of owning Ion Storm or Nova Storm who I will still likely find a way to toss off to someone.)

Runner up would probably be any of the car micromasters, I reckon. They seem very bland and don't even have a passable weapon mode together. I'd also say the gun Battlemasters are worth a mention, but that's just a bit of personal bias in wishing they'd do more melee options since everyone already comes with guns. They scoot by on virtue of those sweet little blast effects!

I personally feel that the weakest figure title should go to Swindler. Don't get me wrong, I love him to death, but I wish there could've been more articulation with his arms than what we got.

    Or an Overlord :)

Probably they couldn't find the right character to use the mold cus Hot Rod's features are kinda unique with the spoiler back silhouette, the wolverine-esque tailpipes, and the pretty high shoulder.

I'd like to see the Laser Rods revisited, I'm a sucker for old cars and those 4 really look cool but I want a modern take on them.

Got myself a PRID deluxe Dead End (Redeco of PRID Wheeljack) from a second-hand trade-in; Despite a lot fans praising this particular mold, I find the figure to be average at best.

I hate that PRID Dead End lacks bicep swivels and the bulky shoulders also blocks any outward shoulder movement, which makes the arms a chore to put it in a good pose. Consider that the PRID Wheeljack mold is released in 2012 where bicep swivels are standards across figures, the lack of bicep swivels are unacceptable.

The effect parts in WFC:S should have come with every figure. (not counting MM’s, they’re too small for it to be worthwhile financially for Hasbro). It doesn’t make any sense to have a system like this and only include peace meal offerings with each Battle Master.

I gave a bit of a blanket runner up placement. I think I'm a bit more forgiving because the micromasters are at a price range where I don't expect a lot from them individually, so I judged them more on a whole due to whether there's some appeal to the combined weapon. If anything, I'll give Micromasters more flak over not coming with the blast effects, haha

For me it's the Prowl mold. The hollow legs from the knee down and the basic "trunk" that's covered up by the wide midsection panel looks bad from the back.
You know how they say makeup can cover up mistakes well that was generally my approach when I did the custom paint job on him. But only some fillers for the lower legs can redeem the figure.
Oh and the lack of shoulder blasters

Oh my gosh I would be so down. I love non-transforming Transformers, and if someone sold a MP-scale non-transforming version of Optimus with all the toon touches like MP-44 or TE-01 I'd be thrilled to put him on the shelf.

Nah - it photographs pretty badly in certain light but it's a much richer, more navy blue than is usually used for Optimus legs, especially these days. The Hero and Laser versions had pretty different color schemes with a lot more white and black, respectively, but the standard G1 repaint is more or less the standard colors in different hues. I think it gets associated with black so much because of the much more stark trailer, which is maybe where Takara pulled the colors for that Kabaya Gum version came from (which I want very badly now that I remember it exists).

How many people are staring at their Transformers from behind? Outside of like the FOC Combaticons, I’ve never felt the hollowness complaints have been that big of a deal.

I mean, I have mine in "dynamic" angles where the back is visible, especially on Swindle. Mine also arent in a case, they're on a table with all sides exposed.

I say this to follow it with: I don't care for hollowness in general, its a reach for complaints
