I heard this logics from my collector friend:
    1. As a customer, it is not our job to chase the distributor company for replacement part. The job is with retailer.
    2. If the retailer told you there is no reply from distributor, but at the same time they are still taking pre-order and selling new-arrival stock of the same distributor, this does not justify the reason that distributor has not replied to retailer.

My friend has his one refunded in this case.

As a retailer in the past I have been informed that with FP items you should go through your retailer for any parts replacement, this is how they have always operated. If FP is not responding to your retailer, provided your retailer has a direct contact to FP, then most likely they don't have any parts available. In the past FP has always been, if they don't have it they just don't answer. Not sure if this is the same still. Who is your retailer?

I no longer operate FPCore and so I can not look into your issue but their customer service person is usually pretty good so if they are not getting back to you then perhaps your messages are not getting through to them correctly. I am not going to say that 1 month is an OK time or anything but sometimes other things can get in the way. Unfortunately FPCore is almost 100% volunteer operated and no one really gets paid there and so sometimes a real job gets in the way.

Best is to just use their community email again and gently ask what may be going on. If FP does not have any support for Volar any longer then not much anyone can do about it if there is no stock left to be had. Much of the time with FPCore the wait is not on FPCore but on FP and trying to get anything done with them.

Falcon Hanger is very good shop and very good with FP. I can't tell you why they say no response. My only guess is FP does not have any parts remaining but this is only my guess.

Most of the time FP does not keep a lot or any inventory after sold out.

Dats the puzzling part. Would have expected a response on this. Even the falcon chaps are puzzled.

Anyway just my luck but its sad though cuz I really liked their dinos. Now my Volar will habe to become an prehistoric ostrich LOLx!!!

Wanted to give a huge shoutout to Eddie @ ToyDojo for helping me get the replacement parts for Volar. I originally had an order with him for Volar when i saw him on FPCore for $30 cheaper so i swapped him out on my order and got him from FPCore..... which i soon regretted.

No thanks to anyone at FPCore for getting the replacement parts, Eddie is a stand up guy, one of the best in the business, and helped me out when he had no obligation to at all. I'm am surprised FP was so responsive to him but thankful to no end.

Now my volar will be handled with white gloves, lol, and i can finally finish the line.

    You rock Eddie!

I also won't expect too much from the Falcon guys...let's say that their level of service has 'dropped' a lot. SO much so that I've dropped them from my list.

Wow! Congrats! I heard good things about Toy Dojo but that's pretty good! Looks like I may have to try them one of these days! :D

Does anybody still have the spare Columpio hips that came with Volar? I was recently gifted a Columpio, and now I have need of them..

    Let there be light.

Volar is the best third party chug. IMO. 15689571295932109264480812699657.jpg

Boo. I love him. After dosing him up with future floor polish he is as solid as a rock. I will probably acquire a back up copy.

You must not have any experience with their Slag. Cubrar is fantastic and probably the best of the team.

[IMG]Fansproject's Volar aka Swoop by Alt Mode, on Flickr

*shrugs*... I dunno... With all due respect to your opinions, I like them all for various reasons. Even my loose in the waist and mostly no ratchet joints Clumpio. And I like Volar's silhouette. It's a nice, svelte bot mode. Though, of all of them, I'd say Severo and Pinchar are at the top of the list.

They look so great together. I love the bulk of the figures. Voyager in height, but so much mass they have more shelf presence than any other voyager sized TF I own.

Yep, still love this set…though I have to admit, I wish I hadn’t been so eager to get them when they were first released, so I could have picked them up now for less than half their original price. C’est la vie.

I have the Cubrar with the red head,I love it too. It's pretty close between Volar and Cubrar.

I today purchased a limited edition sparky blue Volar. Hopefully it should arrive before or on my birthday this coming Thursday.

If Volar had a few more sideways ratchets in his hips, he'd be perfect. But I love him. Each have small faults that would make them perfect., for me at least.

His soft ratchets have eroded over the years, and weren't great to begin with, and his legs are a mess in pteranodon mode, plus visible hand syndrome.

BUT he has a damn fine robot mode. Eye-catching, a sexy update in fine CHUG form, my favorite robot mode of any o the 3P Swoops.
