Anyone else's Frenzy have two right hands? Sticker are on ok, but same hand mold on both sides.

I haven't gotten round to open up my pieces yet so I had to ask this:

Does these come with diecast parts?

 

On Frenzy, they should have taken that red paint on his forehead and put it on his eyes instead. Since that would make him toon accurate (especially with the muted gold), they could have called him "Rumble" on the package. That would have made him a special single release (then they could do the same with his red counterpart, who would be named "Frenzy").

Part of me wonders if that was the intent, but when someone said "paint his optics red," the dot was mistaken as an optic.

 

I share your fate. Card charged but no shipping notice and just says unfulfilled on their site.

 

I just got a second email saying my shipment has been delayed another week again. Not how I wanted this Hasbro Pulse to start things.

 

At least you got a notice. I've received nothing from them.

 

Mine arrived this evening even though I never received a shipping notice. My account still lists the order as unfilled.

I ordered two and both cards are banged up.

 

Ha! - Mine showed up around 11AM this morning out of the blue. I just checked and Pulse sent an email today at 6AM that my order had been shipped.

The cards look pretty good. I ordered 2 sets. One is nice and flat with pretty good sticker placement on the cassettes, the other has a slight warp that can probably be pressed out, and wonky stickers on Gurafi. But I planned on opening a set anyway.

 

So am not the only one worried here. Something must have happened with Hasbros shipping. Hope everything works out.

 

I got charged 5-7 days ago, and finally got a shipping notice today. I think I may be regretting not getting two of these things.

 

Received mine today. Also got a shipment notice of them today. One arrived very good & other virtually minty. Considering they are stacked on top of on another with the fat bubble on 1 side (bottom) inside of box, I expected worse transit damage in box. Got lucky. Also got my question answered on the weapons - all chrome no rubber reinforcement/paint.

 

Yeah, like they don't want folks cutting the cards apart and selling off Frenzy. What a dick move Hasbro.

 

This Frumble would've also needed to be very fluorescent purple to be a cartoon accurate Frumble though. I would've preferred that, since his inclusion as his (mostly) usual toy-colored self is a bit random and redundant here otherwise.

 

Aftermarket price has almost tripled and there are currently less than 30 sets for sale on Ebay. If Hasbro does release the other two exclusive cassettes, look for these to jump even higher.

Happy to have at least one set.

I didn't even realize it had sold out on hasbropulse. Guess I will probably be opening it up. Doesn't really matter much, I opened the set that came with Bumblebee and with any luck if they release a carded set of that they will release a carded set of these where the backs are swapped. Would be more concerned had I not sold off my 2nd Slamdance (or whatever it is called) so I have no real urge to have sets separate and combined, and with the flipped cards can probably justify opening this one. Just wondering how many Frenzies I need in my collection.

 

I just got my two sets today. Opened both right away, and they all look nice. I think I prefer these over my 2012 KOs, but they are all good and worth keeping.

Good quality plastic. I like that they did not use die-cast parts like the other recent reissues of Dial and Zaur. These molds seem to be made with a little more care. All parts line up well in both modes. The only minor problem I see is that both of the Noizus kind of lean to the side. Otherwise, they are almost perfect.

I mostly just bought two in case there was a defect... No intention to sell them. Hopefully they do a few more waves before long, or a boxset of all 4 dinos eventually. I'll feel dumb if the sealed after-market price is like $500 in a few years, but won't worry about that now.

Now I'm just not sure if I want to cut out the tech specs or leave the cards intact. They are very difficult to store unless you cut or fold something.

 

Finally got the shipping notice. I'll probably open then as I have always wanted to mess with some of the Japanese only cassettes. Now if only I could find the G1 re-issue Soundwave and cassettes.
