After seeing how tall Newage Ratchet is, im quite sure i retract my statement on Newage Prime beinf taller. Plus @TheRebirth made a good questionable comment.

Ok new evidence reveals that is DX9 DUTCH see   i wasnt sure so i checked with my figures

Dx9 seeker looks huge next to NA van bros. I am also sticking to my theory, at the very least NA seekers will have much less mass than dx9s... NA megs now revealed as 11cm although i am not confident how accurate that measurement is. Could be to the back canon, maybe that will make mst buyers test him...

 

These NA seekers are ON POINT! Light years ahead of DX9/pocket toys versions... Though I don't see any Waist swivel... Hmm...

 

Why do you say that? Both Starscream and the Coneheads have a clear cut across their waist section (even breaking up the cockpit in the process). I can't imagine that wouldn't allow for a waist swivel.

 

Check the Conehead to the far right. He's definitely utilizing a waist swivel:

 

I saw that detail. But they usually will go ahead and, you know, Turn the waist if it can, right? Why would they not showcase that bit of articulation? I would love to be wrong or missing something. I probably am, even! I just don't want to assume that a detail on a prototype means it will do something... I am totally swapping out my WIP versions for these guys. Very exciting designs overall.

I'm always surprised to see Thrust with his wings stuck to his legs / at his waist. Clearly, it was this way as a toy, but then it was so for Starscream/Tundercracker/Skywarp too, and the cartoon made it so much better by raising the wings to their shoulders. So weird they didn't give Thrust the same treatment. He always looks so uncomfortable.

 

The Seekers should be much larger than the vans, no? They should be slightly smaller than the leaders. I’m hoping NA has them stand at about 10cm or just under. There’s some wildly varying scale in the animation regarding the Seekers, but as long as they’re taller than all the Autobot cars and shorter than Prime and Megatron I’m fine.

And yeah, it does look pretty awkward. That's one thing I'd be ok having retconned

 

Oh I know, what I meant is they made it so much better on the toon for the f-15s but not poor ol' thrust, even though his wings are fundamentally the same. The dx9 conehead figure did fix them higher, but it looks like NA is going toon accurate, which is also g1 toy accurate, which is the goofy way. meh!

 

DX9 and NA have very similar sizes. So at this point it's safe to assume that their seekers will be as well

 

What're we presuming is correct based entirely on two photos?

Hmm, cape and purple shoulders look exactly like Iron Factory's version. Not a complaint, just surprised it would be so similar.

 

I'm really curious to see more of how they handled the transformation. The hinges in the nose cone and vertical stabilizers are very interesting.

 

Nice! And already in the packaging? The last few months of this year are just getting more and more expensive.

 

Like how the tiny Megatron gun can attach tonthe underside of the jet, hope this is an early design of the gun and the final looks more like the Newage Megatron alt mode.

It looks like the landing gear for the front of the jet is in the nosecone not like on the MST one in hist chest.

Figure looks great, scales well with Newage Megatron, do think they will be taller than Newage Ironhide and Ratchet, about the size of DX9 Dutch.

 

The color details/breakdown are not great... The blue/black ones seem a bit better, but i really just want Starscream... Like those grey piece on the shoulder should be red too. man, dont feel like painting myself.

Not sure if should wait to see if a more premium version pops up later.

Maybe i wait for video reviews
