I just recieved an email from Hasbro Pulse apologizing for the delay. It will now ship out in November.



I suspect everyone else who ordered one should be recieving the same message very shortly.

 

I just got the email as well. I know the date was already changed on the site by either Saturday or Sunday.

 

Maybe some day they will make an actual Star Convoy instead of only his robot mode being represented here. I accept what they were going for; 1984 Optimus Prime powering up into Star Convoy but I also understand people’s complaints about Star Convoy not having his own vehicle mode. On that note, I think it would be amazing to see Masterpiece Star Convoy. Just no more Masterpiece 1984 Optimus Primes please.

Generations Select Super Megatron is more likely to happen first.

so where the FUCK is Armada Prime?!?!?! They showed that mold at the exact same time as Star Convoy & he's never been seen again!!!

 

I am saddened by this, but considering how much I gotta pay for in the next month or two already, I'm not exactly too busted up about it. I can wait a little longer, and I'm totally stoked to get him one way or another.

 

I seen this yesterday after a purchase and in a way I'm kinda glad. So by Hasbro doing this,... it does allow me to catch up on collecting for just alittle. I mean just look at how much there is to buy cause it would nearly bankrupt you for a couple of weeks. So I'm kinda glad cause Omega Supreme is going too be expensive with tax on Amazon your looking at. Either way I'm buying Omega Supreme first then I'll pick this up. Just hope my better judgement doesn't cost me a chance to buy this.

 

Wanted to ask the same thing. That is my most anticipated mold. I even refrained from buying the old mold on eBay because I saw this new thing coming up.

 

My BBTS preorder still says the same date but I expect that to change. Though they don't even have a preorder page for Star Convoy anymore.

They put in a capsule and shot it into the sun, to appease the gods that want it just as much as you do.

 

They had the finished Star Convoy prototype at that point, but only the cab for Armada Prime.

Entirely possible they're still working out the trailer and Overload/Armada integration before revealing anything.

 

Huh, it's still being released the last weekend of September in Japan, according to TakaraTomy Mall.

What was your original estimated shipping date from Pulse?

Also on the Armada prime front, I suspect we'll see more on that at one of the 2 upcoming toy shows in Japan! We've got Shizuoka Hobby & Toy show next month and Tokyo Comic Con in November to look forward to!

 

I wonder if armada prime was put out by mistake, maybe it was just too early. :s

Could be a similar case to MP Hound where they got excited and showed him off but then had to go back to the drawing board because of a design issue.

 

I checked my original order email, and it says 9-28-2019 for 'expected' shipping. Which lines up with the Takara release window. However, if it's anything like Gunpla releases, where the exclusives launch in Japan and they are imported over to the states, then expect it a month later.. which by all counts lines up with Hasbro's revised release window. End of September (first week in October), then the US copies ship by November..
I'm already looking forward to those hobby shows because of Bandai's pending reveals (new PG, Hathaway's Flash, Live Action Gundam, etc), but we'll just have to wait and see what Takara shows.

 

When I go to BBTS I get "404 - File or directory not found".

I wonder was it going on?
