Anyone that has both Wei Jiang Legendary warrior and BMB Ancient leader, who are you most happy with and why. I’m gonna get scorn but now I want a grimlock to pair him with

 

I prefer going with alt mode scale. The nice thing with dinosaurs is they have a range of sizes between birth and adult.

 

I wonder if Hasbro would even want to have another crack at making Scorn and Slug - sure someone could up-size the existing moulds (they already have) but I think with them being simpler it wouldn't be ideal.

Yet a the same time I don't know if I'd object to strongly to an overscale Slog either if he's nicely painted. But I can't see Hasbro giving a leader slot to a cut character.

 

You're right. The scale charts doesn't seem to account for Grimlocks horn, but it does make him a bit taller than Scorn.
I'm gonna have to wait for more pictures before i decide.

 

(I only have BMB one) I rememberBMB is bigger than WJ's, so it should be better to pair with Scorn (unless you think Scorn should be bigger than Grimlock).

 

That’s what I’m thinking, and I actually prefer the size of bmb, but I like the paint job and plastic quality of Wei jiang more. The weapons suck tho

 

Way too big for my collection and like I said not enough improvements but cheers to those who want him.

Looks to be about exactly in scale to me. Top of Grimlock's head is slightly lower (even with him closer to the camera), and the crest sticks way up above. Unless the camera is looking down further than I thought (which would still make Grimlock only very fractionally taller).

Looks like a really well done upsizing. I was apprehensive about it since i feel like bmbs quality has been going down a little but I like what they’ve done here. Seemingly has good ratchets too

 

So do we know if there are plans to OS KO the rest?

Whilst I'm a g1 diehard I did kind of dig the bayverse Dinos and if they're all made this size I'd probably jump.

 

I still would like a new Slog sometime.

I feel like Slug needs a new figure. Studio Series preferably. I still feel Strafe is pretty solid, but I could see them redoing him as well.
I hope once we get past the Studio Series Devastator they can dig into those two.
