being in the uk both prices from kapow toys and tfs-express would be cheaper than buying from outside of the uk because 1.it would cost loads to ship something this big to the uk and 2.we get hit with hefty customs and would on this , it would end up costing around £700( $873)

Apologies if this has been answered or discussed already but I'm wondering if, should this meet the 8000 target by the deadline and it goes into production, will Haslab then continue to take orders in the 2 year production period so even more people can purchase it? I'd imagine yes as it's more money for them which both adds to their production budget and profits instead of limiting themselves to whatever the current deadline total will be.

The reason I ask is I am interested in this figure and will be following its development (if it goes ahead) but don't currently have the funds to commit to backing it, and as many others have also said, there are too many things like the colour, kibble etc that are holding me back. I'd like to have the option to join the party later on though if I change my mind :D

Short answer: from what Hasbro has said thus far, no. This is the only opportunity, same as for the SW barge.

I know Bobby said the 1500 "wasn't organic," but it was Hasbro's affiliate orders... I take him to mean that the orders didn't total 1500 and Hasbro rounded up. To what extent we may never know. But I doubt they rounded up to 1500 from, say, 700. I think at least 1100 of those 1500 must be legitimate orders.

I am afraid you are looking at aftermarket prices if you don't jump before the deadline as Haslab is saying this is one time opportunity. That I believe is exactly for this version. Look at eBay how much they are peddling this un-made product. Its crazy pricing already!!

This guy is getting produced either way
They will get the numbers to work one way or another
This is going to be the biggest baddest official figure ever produced.

If this gets funded, I shudder to imagine the aftermarket prices after it's been released...

    Edit: YIKES AT THOSE PRICES!!!

Personally I would be kind of pissed if they did offer it after the crowdfund.

Bobby is full of shit. He is guessing, just like anybody else. His "sources" are no more legitimate than what has been written in this thread already.

I certainly hope it gets produced, but I'd rather it happen because ~8000 people want it. It would leave a bad taste in my mouth if Hasbro cheats it into existence.

I am sure his point is that it’s not part of the price. Hasbro isn’t any more responsible for the cost of socialism in the UK as they are in bankrupt US states’ sales tax.

Agreed but it was done all wrong
Felt like this was not a major company coming out with a high end exclusive crowd fund. It felt like the MMC fort max crowd fund that was rushed and would have been successful if it was thought out and not rushed , thus the extended date

I understand, but I typically include tax when I pay for something. I do realize there are 4 US states that do not charge sales tax, but most do. In Europe however, there's no getting out of it. My point is there's no point excluding something if you have to pay for it. It does not make things cheaper.

I agree with this. I feel this could have been a walk in the park seriously. They did the Kapow thing almost at the last minute. They didn't bother doing any solicitation in many countries. If this had been a global thingy, pretty sure this could have been done in a month, no extension required.

Doubtful. It would kind of price at least half of the current customers out of TFs now wouldn't it? And just because who is left can afford a $300 Titan doesn't mean they can make up the difference for the crap ton of other people who now can't afford one. Plus of the people who could afford one, some won't buy one for a variety of reasons anyway. Hasbro would lose more money that way, and I'd like to think they know that else they would have collapsed as a company about 10 years ago.

    I wouldn't worry.

final note by building this one you told hasbro take my money don\'t be surprised if the the next titan cost extra 150 more on top of  cost  from were we payed for omega supreme

Yes that makes sense but wait since metroplex was made it’s gone up each year and the quality has gone down in how it’s build but yet we buy still and that’s where hasbro knows it’s time to raise the price again

LOL............. We've heard for a month now that a store was buying 200 extra......... thats not organic.. Hendr told us over a month ago. if you think most of us give one sh*t .. or half of one .. you're insane because we just want our freaking orders of unicron. If a store or hasbro wants to eat the cost of a few hundred....... please for the love of the lord of chaos... DO IT
