Um, yeah... I want to keep the green mushie, but it's not as good as the speed boost one. I gave that to my niece who uses it as a pillow.
HIGHS; this sucker turned out great!!! LOWS; I HAVE TO HAVE ONE OF THESE!!!! i couldn't get in on the recent special limited pre-order, so my only hope is for BANDAI to produce enough units that i may get a crack at one come the general release in DEC.
Found a studio series Ironhide out in the wild (also saw DOTM Ratchet and VW BB, but passed on them...for now). Ironhide was only $27 instead of $30 oddly enough Also picked up the rainbow deadpools. I've been wanting these guys since I saw them first in stores but held out hope that Target clearance would come in clutch since $65 is way too expensive for them- and luck paid off, grabbed them for only $20 today!
LOWS; had my HLJ PreOrder cancelled on the BANDAI DX 1/48 MACROSS VF-1J. HIGHS; secured one at the lowest EBAY scalper price i could find, $320 shipped from Japan. would have greatly preferred the HLJ pricing, but as my childhood favorite Anime Mecha design of all time, I HAD TO OWN ONE OF THESE. PERIOD. as such, paying any premium was vastly preferable to missing out on one altogether...
High: Zoids! None of my childhood zoids survived, so happy to have new ones! Lows: well, these are kits. AKA additional backlog, even though I promised myself not to add to my backlog until I've finished off what I have. Oh well.
Highs: Takara book collection Sideswipe Lows: customer scanned UPCs of entire booth, loaded up $150 worth of toys I'd marked down to $100, and stormed off when I couldn't knock another $10 off
High: I'm getting my m.s.g. gigantic arms 04 armed breaker via Amazon Prime delivery today! w00t! Low: This is the scariest thing I've ever seen in my life! What the actual Fuck, @Tasuke ?
There was a small toy/collector meet on the mall I pass by on the way home from commute and got these guys! Both High-since it's they're great toys- and low-since the Chasmosaurus really, really show its age and Muldoon lacks his weaponry.
High: Legends of Neopia Lord Kass. Had this guy under ebay's saved searches for a couple of years at least, which probably should've given me some clue as to how much I'd have to end up spending and even though I still question the sanity of it, there's little about the figure itself I don't like, so while I might not be happy with the amount of money I paid, I'm definitely happy with the figure itself. Lows: The Warp Factor series 1 Picard and Riker from Playmates, which turned out to be in a larger 6 inch scale instead of the normal 4.5" one, so I couldn't even use them. And if that wasn't bad enough, both figures were ruined by gimmicks, so despite spending less than tenth the amount I paid for the above Kass figure, I'm definitely ten times more disappointed with them. In fact, I just put them right back on sale.
