What exactly did you do?

 

Fully disassembled it then topcoated everything, so the paint is more durable. Also fixed every paint chip. It was very painful. Warning: not for the weak-hearted ;p
Order is absolutely butchered btw;

 

HOLY HELL! That’s ridiculous! I can only imagine the pain in the butt that must have been. I don’t think I would have the patience to document the whole process for reassembly.

 

I bet you are into scale modeling or gunpla building!

 

Imagine assembling these as the way you make your living. Day in and day out. We really are fortunate to be able to enjoy toys like this.

I was referring to the gif, not the actual figure. IMHO, compared to that gif, from that perspective, to be super clear, the mp10 head is more similar to the toon.

 

Got mine yesterday after a loooong day.
I did not expect to like him as much as I do!
Transformed him back and forth about 6 times. No issues on mine.

 

I'm not very experienced at modding but the knee fix is really quite easy, it's definitely worth doing if you can summon the intestinal fortitude to do it! The guys on the fix thread have laid out the photos and the steps so it's easy to follow and I think there is a vid by tman on YouTube that shows how to do it. Be careful of the springs though!! They like to fly out

It was never on proper UK tv, but I have a distinct feeling that I've watched bits of it as a kid. Did it used to play on a loop with a few other random cartoons in the kid's area of a D.I.Y chain (maybe Texas Do It All?). Any other UKers remember this or am I just crazy?

so something interesting happened ...my mp44 so far has been peefect...no knee issues of any kind and I was thinking of doing the knee repair anyway to prevent issues I. the future...so I opened up the knee and the piece was already glued !!! was this piece always meant to be glued some skipped the process and that's where the QC issue is??
