Well, if there’s one thing Hasbro can thank Zeta for, it’s this. If Unicron doesn’t get funded (god forbid and I mean that), rather than blame Hasbro’s abysmal and half-assed marketing, their lack of incentive to justify spending $575 plus tax, and the amount of time (yes they extended the deadline; however, they’re giving Europe-based buyers two and a half weeks to get the money together. That’s less time than the U.S got for the first deadline) fans will simply blame Zeta and how they “stole” roughly 10 backers from HasLab.

 

So now that we know that only official transformers are actual transformers and everything else is off brand..............

So with so many people in europe crying out that haslab is ignoring them......... do you think the Kapow toys deal will get those people on board or were those empty cries with no intention of ever backing the project?

And I don't understand the clamour for extras to begin with. Why is it not enough to simply get the one thing being offered?

They took a lot more than 10 backers. Otherwise Hasbro wouldnt of gone after them. Its already known that haslab team has been in touch with affiliated and non affiliated e-tailers to gauge how many pre orders there are... im sure they had the stats of how many cancelled after the zeta reveals....

crowdfunds dont have much marketing because marketing costs money and it defeats the idea of why you need crowdfunding. so far there has only been 1 week during this entire campaign where there hasnt been news.... last week. and its because they didnt plan on extending the campaign.

And its a 575$ figure... the incentive is......... do you want unicron or not. the reason for the crowdfund was to see if enough people would want it at that price. there are over 6000 backers so if hasbro did something wrong.......... its not by much.. actually for them if it doesnt hit 8000... for them they did it right.... by not going into retail ... they dont lose much money.

but lets say Hasbro made huge mistakes and this doesnt get funded........... Zeta toys made even larger mistakes because they poked the bear with their campaign.
