do you have to do the tempered kirin also? I have all the other stuff done but apparently that kirin quest shows up at hr49 and I must have stopped playing vanilla before that. Did the witcher quest last night tho...that was something
Tempered Kirin is for unlocking higher HR progression (which you should do anyways!), But getting to Iceborne just needs a Xeno'jiiva win IIRC.
wow I figured it out...and its fucking lame. so I owned the og physical vanilla and bought the iceborne steelbook physical cause I still have my bestbuy gamerpass and it came out to $60 for physical instead of 40 for just the digital upgrade and I got some extra dlc with the steelbook.... I install the game thinking that...you know...the iceborne physical copy would include...you know....fucking iceborne. how wrong I was ha. apparently for xb1 you still have to go to the online shop and click install on the iceborne expansion even if you have fucking iceborne physical what a sick joke. hope its not the same for ps4 players. anyway...I have now met the fiesty fiver and am on my way to better things lol. long story short...install iceborne from the shop regardless if you bought... iceborne complete physical
Yes, but what Im saying is I input the code and did the download, had the massive install. None of that matters tho, on xbox after you do all that you still have to go to the store and click install on iceborne or it wont activate. Its like you install it from the code but it still needs validation that it installed for some reason, or you wont have access to the new content.

Anyone else tripping that the old everwyrm’s eyes look directly at you, as in the camera and not your character? Like when you knock it down and hit its head, move the camera around and the pupils follow it, it’s freaking creepy.
Does it matter where you carve things? I don't seem to find a difference no matter where I carve a corpse.
No, everything’s the same regardless where you carve. Typically, breaking a particular body part gives you that carve material
Yes oh god. Fighting it creeps me the hell out. Nope. On that note I'd suggest capturing if you don't. Capturing and carving roll on the same loot table but a capture is five minutes less effort at the end phase of a hunt.
Veteran tip: ALWAYS bring traps and tranqs with you, especially in multiplayer. Even if you don't intend to capture, traps make for great openings to get in big hits.
