I don't see that trash series Regeneration as canon with the g1 comics anyways.

Enjoyable issue; it further reinforces that Optimus is a flawed character from start to finish in the G1 Marvel Comics.

The best part of this comic was how spot on Battletrap’s design was in this. Like they nailed that classic marvel comic visor look.

Also Furman totally stole this idea from Eugenesis, lol

I'm fine with that, Roberts himself stole ideas from it.

Furman has nothing new so he decided to mess with the original story,he even ruined the man of iron story too,the man of iron and his pal where totally different robots from the autobot twins plus the ship design was different too.

I liked that two generics were retconned into actually being known characters with toys.

Last time I checked the two "generics" in the man of iron story still looked the same with no toys of them. Maybe somebody should show the man of iron issues to furman so he can see the mistake he made.

I would have to check, but I think it's implied in '84, that bits of their armor began to fell of from damage, and it just came of completely after some time. Pretty sure you can see some white bits under one of the clones damaged armor.

Yes, they were generics in the original story and obviously the art hasn’t changed but now they have been given actual identities.

No mistake there. Fastlane and Cloudraker do have toys. The navigator and man of iron being known characters pleases me more than if they were two completely new guys.

Not really. It's fine if you personally don't care for it, but it's a legitimate approach. The whole issue was a retcon, and I'd argue a pretty well done one. The whole point of a retcon is that it isn't 100% accurate to the original work, but adds a new twist/perspective on it. Writers do it all the time, and it's not a case of bowing down to the almighty Furman by any means.

just saying furman should go forward and not back and tampering with history.
