You know she & Bay made up right? She starred in both his Ninja Turtle movies after they became buddies again. She’s been working consistently this whole time.

    Megan Fox - IMDb

Anyway, I’m with the Charlie bandwagon on this one. She’s the only one that comes across as both real and likable.

But at least Cade gave us the Budweiser scene. :p

She was unbearable for me, hated her.

She only made up after AOE. It was already too late for her to come back

Please use multiquote instead of responding to posts individually. It makes things a lot less cluttered.

Of course not... but if she and shia stayed for a fourth and fifth movie I bet it would have been way better than the boring shitfests we got instead. And they 100% would have done better box office wise.

I don’t know. Pretty sure Bay, Shia & Fox were all ready to be done with TFs after part 3. Shia and Bay have always been open about their disdain for the series. They don’t care except for the paychecks. And Megan, has never expressed any regret that she missed out on being in any of them post part 2.

Never forget that the first batch of movies were made by people who had nothing but contempt for the movies they were making & saw them only as a vehicle to further their careers.

Have u forgotten how so many movie fans were disappointed when 1. Shia wasn’t returning and 2. Megan fox wasnt returning to DOTM?? Clearly fans liked them, nobody gave a shit about forgettable actors like “Cade Yeager” who was just boring and whoever his girlfriend in TLK was (forgotten her name). They didn’t have the same “hype” surrounding them like the actors in the first trilogy did.

Key words "movie fans" were disappointed. For the general audience, it didn't make much of a difference. Wahlberg is probably more well known anyways.

I think people were pretty happy about it, actually, since around that time was generally when he started having some kind of combined mental breakdown/midlife crisis and just started doing weird shit like wear a paper bag on his head that had "I am not famous anymore" written on it. Not exactly a guy you want to say is headlining your favorite franchise.

Megan Fox is all looks (before that god awful plastic surgery...) and no talent. Rosie Hunnington was a far better actress.

...do you even understand the difference between the names of a character and the actual, real life human actor portraying that character? I mean, we're not talking Weird Al here where they're basically one and the same, we're talking Mark Whalberg whose star power is quite literally the only reason he ever got cast in the first place.

I feel like you attempted to have two arguments combined into one, being that nobody knew who Mark Whalberg was (which is incorrect because he's been in some high profile films like the Italian Job remake from 2003) and that nobody gave a damn about some random asshat from Texas named Cade Yeager (which while I would agree with, ironically the bulk of movie fans who like AoE would strongly disagree with you, thus completely upending your entire argument.) However, you stumbled over your words and now look like you don't know the difference between fantasy and reality because there is no actor actually named "Cade Yeager".

No, TLK decided to instead hype of Isabella Moner's character to try and ape Star Wars Ep. 7 because there otherwise totally isn't any similarity between a young girl and her gimmicky tiny tobot companion who can't exactly speak ineligible English to the audience.

...now answer the second part of that post, if you would be so kind, because I'm sure I'm not the only one who finds your pattern of posting annoying.

    Hm...

On the one hand, Sam was okay in the first movie but was pretty useless after that (that is literally his character arc in DOTM, wanting to be part of the bigger picture and not be useless). On the other, Cade was a better character in one movie than Sam was in three, but wasn't likable at all in his second movie.

...Charlie outshines both, but if I had to choose between Sam "No no no no no" Witwicky and Cade Yeager, I guess I'll pick Cade by sheer virtue of not being as annoying as Sam.
