The head switch is real easy. The head part is just placed inside his torso. With the red head, if I hold him upside down it will just fall out. Not the case with the blue head (still comes out easily).

The blue leg panel came out on his left leg for me. They are likely just placed in. I just popped it back in.

 

I see, thank you for the information, however that is a deal breaker for me, it would bother me too much that the main head is loosely attached to the body, at $400 it should not have that problem. Why not just have a part that locks it in place? Well either way I will not be buying this release after all.

I watched 4 reviews and sadly they all had that same issue. Maybe the standard release without the light up head will be different but I would not get my hopes up.

 

Seeing this made me realize: Planet X captures the character of IDW Star Saber, while Flame Toys feels like.an updated version of the original.

 

Flame toys starsaber is definitely a ham up version of the design . Hmm px , had already beaten the dead horse over it’s headsculpt .

 

Gosh he’s an absolute stunner.

I always thought Bobby was pretty fair in his reviews.

 

Yeah I just don’t agree with his vibe. I search for other reviewers who understand my philosophies more.

 

@Digger, what does philosophy has to do with a person's opinion. All these reviewers are giving you there opinion on whatever piece they are reviewing. I watched the above review and think it's a fair assessment of this piece. He is right that Drift and Tarn are overall better and Starsaber is not on the same level, it's actually slightly lower. My opinion Drift and Tarn are 9.9 (always leave room for improvement, so no 10s), and Starsaber is a 9.7, while the two QC issues he pointed out and will probably not effect me, but he is right in saying that this third piece has issues where the first and second release in this line are near flawless.

 

BSF is very display oriented. He values shell presence like a great number of collectors. I prefer reviewers like Kuma or Vangelus who value articulation. Vangelus also has this appreciation for the characterisation which I’m also into.

BSF gives articulation but it’s more like a list. To me, it feels like he’s trying to give the figures a purpose. While others try and evaluate how good they are at what they’re doing.
