    Good points

I hadnt considered the selects route with kup and i agree that scourge should be small voyagers. Plus the fact arcee does in a way make more since for a regular wave figure.

Honestly, Arcee/Blurr/Kup/Scourge don't excite me at all*. I hope whoever we get is just a pretool for a late-G1 character we don't have yet.

(*Unless Arcee is Andrew Griffith's RID design, which is unlikely)

What y'all are describing has been on my wishlist. Finally, someone said it! A short Voyager Scourge with massive wings would be glorious.

Arcee feels like a good bet, but I wonder if Catz was thinking of the 'main line' TR stuff, which would exclude her. Ultimately, I hope we get all of them throughout WfC:2.

At the risk of getting pelted with rotten tomatoes and called a hypocrite, I thought it might be worth pulling out scale charts and considering the implications (IMPLICATIONS, NOT RULES) of getting these figures done in the WfC scale.

The below excerpt, which appears to be a Japanese reference document for the '86 movie, puts Arcee as high as Prime's hips, and Kup Hot Rod and Blurr around pectoral height (Blurr's the tallest of the three. I did not know that).
Compared to the scale guide for seasons 1-2 of the Sunbow cartoon, found in Jim Sorensen'S 'The Ark'. That would put Arcee around the same height as the Siege Hound and Prowl figures, which I can definitely live with, and would make Hot Rod, Kup, and Blurr around Ironhide's height. That's pretty cool!

Now obviously I've pointed out, quite recently, that the Japanese scale and the Sunbow scale isn't always consistent, so definitely take the first image with a pinch of salt. However, it does look like it may have been taken from whatever guides were used for the movie, with the japanese text being hand written additions, rather than print.

Yeah, I'd be up for a non-Titan Master Kup too, and with other 88's like Apeface, Crosshairs and potentially Snapdragon in Chapter 2 as shushed Warden let slip that might indicate that they are rounding out the '88 teams, and that it'll be Kup or Blurr as they're the Targetmasters in that group of potential candidates. Perhaps with a couple of other still-absent gunbot-wielding fellas?
Still could be Arcee though, with the info we have I think the odds are even between them (and maybe Scourge).

    Hrm.

Weird idea but do you think, with "gimmick accuracy" that they'd do a second take on Arcee as a headmaster, with a more show accurate body?

Or that they'd go "movie Nitro Zeus" and have her ship with a normal head but it detaches to reveal a Titan Master port for use with Leinad for folks who have the TR version?

Actually it could very well be scourge. Didn’t we get just get fracas, his targetmaster?

Could be. Though I'm liking what @RodimusRex @The13Primes and @orangeitis are saying about the idea of a 'small' Voyager Scourge with serious wing mass that bias is kicking in and I'm thinking it's one of the '86 Autobot cars (I include Arcee in this group).

Ultimately based on my own predictions but I still feel Unicron related characters are more likely to be in Part 3 than 2, for one it would market well with Unicron's release being around then too, which IMO would make Scourge, Galvatron, Cyclonus et al unlikely for part 2.

That said, I actually wonder if with Scourge they may do something a bit different and have Scourge as a Voyager but do Deluxe Sweeps. I know the Sweeps were identical to Scourge originally but I just think it could be an interesting move to give the Sweeps a slightly different design and also Deluxes are kinder on the wallet for army building than Voyagers.

My hope for the 86 movie character speculation is Arcee but then I'll always back the fembot option :)

Yeah at first I was excited, but thats hardcore G1 art there. I like the card and the art, but the TCG guys are intentionally trying to throw us off tge scent.

Bike Acree could be good, I really really wish they revisit that Animated Prowl design for any bikes.

That said I'd want Hotrod or Kup most in the Deluxe range. Yup I'd totally get Acree too.

I don't think its Blurr, because Mirage.

I hope its not Sourge, not a fan.

All that said, It's not Acree, she didn't get a mainline release.

    I'm guessing Kup!

I'd theorise no to the Headmastery, I think with the main stated brief of WFC, or at least Siege thus far, being aesthetics and posability what a WFC Arcee would most likely be is a T30+ sort of refined transformation with a more toon/TFTM accurate look and deco. Hasbro have surprised us before though.
I really wouldn't mind an Arcee as for non-combining WFC Fembots it'd be nice to get past the Moonracer/Novastar-derived Chromia buck.

More original female molds in general would be nice. In PWT the only originally female mold we got was Moonracer and her derivitives as the others were all retools of originally male characters (I think?) or from other lines (The redeco of RiD Windblade for that one box set) even TR Windblade was a retool albeit a heavy one.

So looking back at my speculation from some 107 pages ago, I was obviously way off.

    Deluxe:
Wheeljack, Pointblank, Fast Track weaponiser, Windblade,
    Sunstreaker, Sureshot, Rack'n'Ruin weaponiser, Straxus
Skids, Trailbreaker, Inferno (these last two as tall deluxes along the lines of Ironhide),
Needlenose, Tracks, Slammer aka Autotrooper weaponiser
    Bumblebee, Knockout

If we're getting more '86 TFTM 'bots then the above list needs serious revision.

    So as Catz stated...
...we're getting two deluxes with fresh molds. One of which is the by now much discussed '86 bot that was done in TR, but who's the other? I swear, it's got to be either Wheeljack or Bumblebee, right? unless they want to show off another/some evolution of the weaponizer concept.

I'm still pretty confident that the 'perfect' Voyager is Snapdragon, and the 'mixed feeling' Voyager that makes sense within the name of the line is Alpha Trion. Leaderclass armoured car? I think I'm sticking with Roadbuster. And the Commander that compliments Omega Supreme? Despite the clamour for Titan Class that we've seen on the forum, I think it's going to be Skylynx.

What I would like to see and what would fit with the RiD influence for Magnus, is a leader Scourge that uses his RiD truck, but transforms into a more G1 looking robot (maybe have the grill form his chest details -- kind of an Armada Optimus influence) and a trailer that transforms to form wings for the robot like the G1 figure. And be blue.

but those are two completely unrelated scourges, thatd be like wanting a g1 grimlock that turns into an excavator.

They're also different Magni, save for both transforming into a car transport.

Plus I've always hated G1 Scourge's altmode and missed a Ground Assault commander for the Decepticons. And when I saw RiD Scourge back then, my first thought was that this was perfect for Scourge...save the absence of the Wings.

But at least ultra Magnus and god Magnus share more similarities than a name. The reason siege Magnus has the god Magnus alt mode is because his g1 mode is an earth mode. G1 scourge wouldn’t have this issue as he’s an alien design to begin with

If I am Hasbro I would just put Arcee at Chromia’s height (it’s cheaper to just retool), Hotrod and Blurr at the standard Siege Prowl/Sideswipe/Refraktor height, and Kup at Ironhide’s height.

Why? Because it’s cheaper for Hasbro (Arcee’s case), makes more sense (why should Hot Rod be as tall as Ironhide and Impactor? He is the young guy let Kup get that height but not Hotrod. You want a tall HotRod? Get TR Hot Rod.

This is just my opinion and I think the way described above is coolest:) .

Because that's how tall he is canonically.
