According to Transfan on Facebook, this company is AOYI Mech (It say on top left of the picture) not Black Mamba.

 

Well technically they are correct, it's AOYI Mech. Except AOYI Mech is 99% a rebrand of BMB.

My conclusion is based on the fact that AOYI Mech is releasing figures BMB previewed before, and the fact that their recent teaser images continue the numbering systems that BMB used (AKA the LS line or H600X line).

 

I was just thinking about it after I saw OS KO Scorn in the other thread.

Only 18cm? It should've been about 23cm to scale with the rest of their figures

Looks like aside from changing the color of a few small pieces and ups along it a little bit they changed nothing. Such a fun figure but so much that could be improved... they could have:

-Added elbows
-Increased the tail articulation
-Added more tread articulation
-Made the scoop and/or the cab collapse more, etc

 

Actually, they also did middle hinge piece the right way round... yay?

 

I noticed that. It's a small plus, but it's really the bare minimum. And why is it light gray now? Are they saying "HEY LOOK WE FIXED IT!!"?

 

i think they’re business model is now “slight oversize and add die-cast” so i think they made the center hinge metal

 

Oh you're right, I didn't notice that. I think both reasons are equally likely tbh, considering how little effort is in this.
