So a Unicron pin, a 35th anniversary Megatron pin, and a G1 Optimus patch?

Maybe I went tfcon once people I saw wear transformers related stuff is on shirts and people I see driving around that are transformers fans wear shirts, put stickers on there cars unicorn doesn’t get funded person won’t look like ass if it’s not shown in public

 

Or he’ll end up with the only related merch associated to a product that never saw the light of day, making it even more sought after.

 

I wouldnt have associated it with the convention because ithe crowdfund is currently struggling. Im not saying fans wont wear rhem. Im just saying commemorating a project that failed looks kind of silly. And for the record, I backed the project. But the math aint looking too good. Everyone and their mother in the participating regions has already backed the project. But Hasbro insists that 2,300 mystery collectors must appear out of thin air to make it happen and the online retailers are saying "not our problem".

 

I think the average person is either going to (A) not care or (B) think they’re asses for having a cartoon character pin. Nothing to do with crowdfunding.

 

Do people collect that sort of thing ? I always wondered what they do with all the pre-made merch for the losing superbowl teams ?

 

Ask anyone with a G2 Breakdown. Or an unreleased prototype.
I would hardly equate any Siege Unicron merch with losing Super Bowl merch since win or lose, it’s still Unicron.
And if it doesn’t get made, it doesn’t devalue any associated merch. If anything it’ll make it more rare.

 

Another one of those threads I enter thinking its a new figure reveal for reading too fast... At least that Unicron pin looks good.

 

Those Unicron Pins in the aftermarket are going to skyrocket as high as the Unicron toy itself.

 

I hear you. I guess to me if its a convention pin meant to commemorate something. Its easy to sugarcoat it and say who cares its Unicron....but in my heart I know it was a failure. That would irk me too much.

 

Ordered the Unicron pin on the 19th and got it today, thought it was a preorder but turns out it wasn't
