I still want an OS Scourge.  

 

Progress pics! It's printed on my UP Mini 2, so the print looks a bit messy due to its small size, however soon it'll be done in resin for the final few prototyping stages.

 

Looks lovely with the extra articulation.
The great thing is that the OVERSCALE Headmasters are broadly compatible with the G1 Headmaster scale so that should fit on the G1 toy too I suspect

 

I want these, but now that Apeface is on the way, these guys will not only end up bigger than he is, but the Headmasters will be bigger than his as well...

Thankfully these aren't KO's of the TakTom versions, otherwise the size differences wouldn't have stopped me from buying them then.  

 

it shouldn't be hard to make an alternate head sculpt that fits into the G1 headmaster ports...

 

You could include both heads and people could pick what they want to use it for.

So would the G1 heads have the little notches mounted behind the head to activate the meters?

I just got to thinking if wei Jiang's other moulds are on the table then perhaps a Nightbird (or a stealth Arcee) or Greenlight is on the table out of their Alcee mould ? Option would vary depending on if it's just a straight repaint or a toy with a new head and weapons.

I know some people rather like the black Arcee colours so - I can see some people buying that one.

 

If we're talking other potential repaints for the oversized HM's, I'd love to see a Carnivac repaint of Weirdwolf. An official one was rumored but never materialized (in fact the mold never got a repaint at all).

 

Word on the (insider street) is that the molds for these are dead, so no new repaints likely to come from WJ...would love to see another company do oodles of Head Master repaints in any size class though!

Damn! Why couldn't they keep going & oversize most of the TR line? I would love a voyager Scourge, Krok, Misfire, Slugslinger, Triggerhappy................bah, I better stop thinking about it.

I would be all over oversized Misfire, Triggerhappy and Slugslinger. Plus METALHAWK REPAINT!

 

More than anything that's what I wanted. THat's probably my favorite deluxe of the last 5 years.

 

Agreed with @Aimless Misfire and @Scaleface . Such a shame they didn't do Misfire, Slugslinger and Triggerhappy. Those really needed to be voyager sized, they played a part in the Headmasters cartoon, and it would give IDW fans a Misifre. Those three really are/were my most wanted OS of the Titan line.

Everytime this thread is bumped I keep hoping it's because of such an announcement, but I know it won't happen. Makes me regret skipping the officials, though I did get Triggerhappy and he's woefully too small.

 

Yes the Targetmasters were very much on my wants list too - I wouldn't have minded a scourge either - even though he's not a great mould - at least he'd be a better match to the Combiner Wars Cyclonus then.

It should be to hard to make some of the obvious repaint - as all they need is a new face - I guess they just thought Krok, or Quake was to obscure. But a Running Change repaint of Brainstorm would be easy enough to do - I guess in the more blue like colouring.

There is certainly some other's i'd have happily bought - but yes the targetmasters would be great.
