Getting back to the subject of Unicron.....

Does anyone know where one can pre-order this in Europe, without having to pay for everything up front until the scheduled dispatch date? TFS Express for example want payment in full before December 2019, where guys stateside essentially have 18 months to pay.

    Appreciated.

    Consider this:
TF brand might be popular but maybe Unicron is not a character popular enough for a $600 buy? He's not Jabba the Hutt, he's a planet-sized plot device.

What’s Jabba other than a slug shaped plot device?

I wonder how many actual screen time Jabba had in ROTJ and how much screen time Unicron had in TF:TM? Hmm!

Except a 3.75 inch SW collection can be centered around the barge for recreating movie scenes or using it as a background, and it still costed less that this Unicron which, even at this size, isn't going to be up to scale with anything. It's a $600 figure of a character that still isn't a must-have for the franchise. Maybe if a TF HasLab project also was an official playset, like the Ark or the Nemesis, then throw in related figures or accessories as stretch goals. But this thing already started with a limited appeal. Also, let's not pretend that TFTM ever pulled the numbers ROTJ did.

Perhaps! I can't speak for the fandom. For me, both movies had a very big impact on my childhood. I never followed the comics or other TF series. Unicron is cool to me. I'm sure I'm in the minority and I'm okay with that.

Pretty sure that's the option. Otherwise you're using a US seller who's not going to €10 the customs form for you. You'll get hit with customs duty for definite, and depending on whether customs decide if it's a toy or collectible, you might eat VAT on it too.

Oh, and delivery will murder you in your sleep.

Seriously, if you can't pay Tfs-express by December, you'll struggle to pay perhaps double come Feb 2021.

Not being a dick here, just realistic. I reckon you'll pay 20% on top to extend payment at one of the sites (seems average), 50% on top for shipping (size and weight, it's an easy €150 from the states), 5-10% customs duty, and potentially VAT at anything up to 25% depending on where you live in the EU (or any other similar import fees if you aren't EU based).

Especially pages on obscure subjects can be edited to say all kinds of nonsense.
Like someone adding "info" about a historical person and quoting some fantasy novel.

With this thread its clear that Unicron has lived up to his reputation. Mass hysteria and chaos has been wrought upon this community with just the POSSIBILITY of his arrival.....
