What's the difference between buying them instead of using real money?

 

So let me get this right, I buy 20 dollars worth of points...which equals 1$ - 100 points not premium or equals 3$ - 100 points with premium? That's a rather nice deal, and I just paid to be a premium member...

Please reconsider, BBTS has one of the worst search filters out there. Your previous filters were much easier to navigate, BBTS is a maze and I prefer your previous structure.


Toy dojo and Chosen Prime also have unrefined search results that have pretty pictures, but don't tell you that an item is out of stock until you're 5 sub-pages in. I prefer the way your page uses thumbnails and a little sticky to see if it's on sale or out of stock, and being able to quickly search by a specific price range is critical! If I know I only have $35 to spend, I don't want to see 15 pages of $100+ toys before I get to the one item that I have to scroll down 5 times to see it's out of stock. Your way has been better than all the other guys from the start.

yes I agree with the guy above me, please DON'T emulate BBTS it's got to be the worst site in the world to navigate

 

You guys are nowhere near as big as BBTS, and I think you use that to your advantage well on your home page. Your home page side bar is excellent, and I really like how you have the companies listed by category. That is very convenient as long as I'm looking for products from one of those preferred companies. However, if I'm looking for a less prolific company and click "others" it all goes to shit.

To compare apples to apples, looking at the BBTS third party transforming toy page I like that the side bar features essentially a three tier view of the 3rd party companies. What's most likely the best selling 3rd party companies are automatically loaded onto the side bar, then that list can be expanded, and finally a new page with all companies listed is viewable. It's not bad. With that said, I preffered your previous side bar to what BBTS does. Your previous method of listing all 3rd or 4th party companies in the side bar made for far more efficient browsing. Your current method of segregating the main companies from the "others" reduces that efficiency and enjoyment. It just seems like you've added more mouse clicks and reduced overall efficiency with your updates.

A few other thoughts:
I rarely search by "product type" or "series". I do find your option to search by character interesting.
I'm not a huge fan of check boxes when they're basically glorified links.
I do prefer your availability options to BBTS' "hide" options.

 

And price range lookup, gotta keep that, please please pleeeze don't get rid of that. I'm pinching pennies so knowing what's in my $10 range is very important to me. Thank you!

 

Also just wanna say thanks for having a choice of currency options so we can see the actual price for countries other than the US. That’s awesome, thanks!

 

Just thought I'd leave a message in this thread to see if we can squash some rumours.

You've mentioned a couple times having contact with the Toyworld Boss and I was just wondering (like a few others in its own thread) whether the Toyworld F-09 Bumblebee Movie Prime has been cancelled.

If you don't know that's super okay, there's just so much uncertainty in the community I thought I'd ask someone who might know.

3. The company and character filter has lots of names there, I can remove both of them or one of them to make the filter neat. Should we do that? If so which one should we remove first ?

1)If you wanted to do an "in-stock only" filter that would be ok. "Out of stock" filter seems a bit redundant. I think the corner sticky that says "sold out" is indication enough, though.

2) cool!

3) To be honest, in 20+ years of on-line ordering, I've never filtered by "character." Would that even work when the same character is called Prime/Convoy/Truckman/LightBringer/LeaderPerson/Plisken/ExhaultedGodWarriorJupiterKing... Well, you get the point.

Just to follow up for clarification. If I upgrade to premium and then buy the $20 worth of points I will essentially get $60 worth of points to use? Is that correct?
