Yeah around 38cm is about right for the combiner height which is good for me imo.
Lol Yeah UT really did not do so well with the arm limbs. But for legs they did a sick job.
We just need a combiner pic of the team. Im imagining its a slimmer seacons judging from the first shadow pic we got.
Geez i hope this posts shuts up about the damn name

Not me, personally, but as others have stated, it'd make returns and/or missed orders slightly uncomfortable. Nobody's going to want to explain to customer support that their "Clan Accouterments" got lost in the mail.

Oh god, I just realized that a 3P company could totally rationalize calling Alpha Trion "The Grand Wizard" and be like "What's the big deal?"

Honestly I was hoping for something that at least approached the Hasbro Titan-class combiner size. I've been using Ordin as my CHUG combiner. My personal headcanon is that the S1-S2 combiners were huge (Menasor, Bruticus, Devastator, Superion, etc.) and later combiners started coming in at smaller weight classes, much like how tech always starts out huge, clunky and inefficient until miniaturization kicks in.

Ahh i like your thought on that. Its actually kinda smart way of thinking it as tech grew and all. So this being smaller for me is good cause im a legends collector so i like havi g these combiners tower over the legends figs but not overly tower like TW and zeta combiner do. So thats why its an alright size. Everyday i still regret selling Ordin :(

Yeah. I regret selling my Legends guys! I just got greedy and couldn't sustain an MP, Hasbro Mainline, AND legends collection at once. In hindsight, I'd have just done Legends and foregone my MP and Hasbro guys and saved a mint. Unfortunately I'm committed to finishing what I started now. :p

Well i just need a combiner... i have xtransbot crackup and was considering moving along with them till i saw the issues that their dragstrip had so im like uhhhh i need a new villian team. So hence this guy started to pop up on the feeds. What im hoping is that due to hasbro crackdown i hope TFC can maintain producing the rest of this combiner till next yr. You dont wanna have 2 limbs and then they font exist anymore worst case scenario...

I’d be offended if anything was called a slur that directly relates to any group of marginalized people. Obviously no company would do that because it’s pretty much in direct contradiction with selling their product. I don’t care if they are named after fictional characters however, and you aren’t going to please everyone too there’s always going to be some of the most petty, ridiculous people who take an affront to anything and everything.

It's not an analogy, it's a preference about things associated with a product and how people feel about it. And this is exactly addressing what I said in my first post - the reactions to what Misfire said are no less outlandish. Knee-jerk reactions can go both ways, y'know...

Exactly. I was thinking similarly along these lines if some 3rd party made a product which is named for an entity/deity/symbol which is a direct affront to anyone's religious beliefs. Would they be wrong to feel offended? I don't think so. Such beliefs are personal.

You can argue that demanding a name change is an infringement on a freedom of expression, but equally the offended person has the right to voice their opinion. In the end, the best solution IMO is to simply not invest in that company if you dislike what they did, and to those who aren't offended to buy the product.

Holy crap!!! That's the best name ever for a combiner! I'm buying it just for the name alone. We need to try to force Hasbro to change the official name because Abominus is stupid. Satan sounds so much cooler! Abominus sounds like a stupid snow man but Satan really fits the monster theme.

I was gonna ask who the white guy was but it's the Beast Wars 2nd version of Skalor.
I recently got Mentarazor and after watching through EmGo's Poseidon reviews; i'm on the fence as to whether i'll get the rest. (Especially as they're £70+ each with Snaptrap being £90)

First of all, Hail Satan. I blocked Misfire months ago because he would go on any forum that had non g1 content and spam about how they were ruining the character, it didn't resemble the exact frame from a certain g1 episode, therefore it was trash. Specifically he lingered on every thread involving the Bumblebee movie and would interrupt discussions to have a shitfit and scream about his childhood dying. Then he'd go on a thread about g1 designs and complain that companies are pandering to g1 and there's nothing unique coming out anymore. Point is, Misfire is either someone who needs serious therapy, or someone who purposely causes problems for everyone else. You've all just fallen for the trap, and somehow some people are defending him for not ignoring a name for a toy that he could just call something else, and turned it into a deep discussion of religion and philosophy. Can we please talk about how cool the designs are for this Abominus? It's not g1, and I'm so glad they went more feral. For a group called terrorcons, the OG team looked like a bunch of non-threatening bricks in vaguely monster shapes. These actually looks like monsters, and the name fits the theme. I hope this is scramble city, but if it's not I'll probably still buy it, I don't have an abominus.

    a·nal·o·gy
    noun
    1. a comparison between two things, typically for the purpose of explanation or clarification
Since you can't seem to understand anything anybody is saying to you and just resort to the same tired, faulty arguments, I'm done. Have a nice day, enjoy the toys.

I don’t have an abominus either. Closest I’ve come is having PotP Hungrrr, Blot and Rippersnapper. Couldn’t seem to find Sinnertwin or Cutthroat for a reasonable amount. I think I’ll go in on this. I don’t have any TFC combiners but I’ve always been curious. I know he probably won’t scale well with my existing collection but I’ll probably get them if for nothing else than their individual modes.

Right, lets say that again. These are T O Y S. It's insane how much people complain about something they could easily just not even acknowledge. Theres a ton on this website to be excited about.

I agree. The beast forms are looking pretty cool and nicely organic. I wish Sinnertwin's neck was a little less scrawny, but it's not at all a deal breaker. I overall love these so far. If diverging from G1 means it's not a brick with legs, then I'm all in

Same here. My collection is MP scaled, but if this looks good I'd pick it up just because. Abominus was one of the few full combiner sets I had as a kid, so this would be a nice nostalgia trip.
