The impression so far seems to be they will release more M next year when they have capacity...

as I understand it both the M version of Sovereign and the T version of Quietus will be issued again as factory time opens up, so probably more short runs mixed in with the major releases throughout the year and possibly years.

Fans Toys is probably the overall smartest/business savvy 3p company. They will eventually rereleaese the entire line and do a toon/movie color edition for everything.

I wouldn't hold my breath to wait for reissues of ft29t and 16m anytime soon. If FT is going to book factory time, you wouldn't think they would spend it making 3000 Stunticon limbs or Aerialbots and still have so many damn figures that needs to be released next year instead of 300 each of 29t or 16m?

don't know the numbers, just repeating what @dalianjj said, that there would be more reissues of 29T and 16M in the future, that it wasn't a limited reissue.

I don't know the ETA for the 2nd batch of FT-29T, hopefully we get news on that soon.
A Taobao seller has stated that the 2nd batch for FT-16M will be available in 2020. He was pretty sure about it being 2020 but not certain about which month. He thinks on or before April 2020 so if that holds true were looking at about 1st quarter 2020 for the 2nd batch of FT-16M.

@ChromeMagnus that makes pretty good sense since there seems to be mor of a want for any version of Sovereign right now than there is for Quietus. Though I am only speaking from my own wants as I have the first version of Quietus and no version of Sovereign right now, pre-ordered, sure, but nothing in hand yet.

2019 and 2020 are shaping up to be busy years for FT.

Yeah is this a normal FT release schedule? Seems like there’s at least one or 2 a month, hard to keep up. I just missed Koot and Phoenix before I got back to collecting.

I don't recall them being quite this busy before. I know 2018 was a very slow year.....I think there were only 3 or 4 new releases.

They need to be. They put out so much future projects/products that if they didn't do something soon, I don't see how they could show any more, even as early as this upcoming TFCon.

In fact, I'm surprised they are wasting any production space for reissue or repaints. But as long as they are ramping up production to put stuff out then, I can't complain about that.

Yeah I’ll take any re-releases they wanna put out, even stuff from a few months ago disappears so quick. Other than Hoodlum it seems.

Same. I want the insecticons and reflector, hopefully with better head-sculpts but that's pushing it. Fingers crossed.

Finally, FINALLY got my FT29T today, and if I'm honest, I'm torn between the original and this version. Maybe it's because I've had the original on display for do long I'm used to it, but the new figure didn't grab me in the way I thought it would. The main gripe I have is that the darker purple on the ears and wings doesn't stand out like the original, although that could be the lighting in my place. I'll give the new guy some time, see if he grows on me, but as it stands, I'm pretty underwhelmed.

I'm not surprised to see Sovereign getting a new paint job (although I'm skipping that one, the original is damn near perfect in my book), but have fanstoys said anything about releasing a version of Scourge? Andras is fine, but he's starting to show his age next to Sovereign and Quietus

I really hope they're working on Scourge. I think Andras looks great but I don't have him cuz he's just too small for my taste
