I could be wrong here, but if I remember correctly the Ready Player One novel has strange allusions to masturbation throughout...? At least, that’s what I heard online when the movie hit cinemas, but it could entirely be a fragment of my imagination

 

It's been years since I read the book, but if I remember correctly it was just one instance where the 80s guy was saying how great masturbating is because the main character mentioned it. It rubbed me the wrong way when I read it; I get that people like it but there was a lot of stuff in that book that bugged me when I read it.

 

Yeah there was basically a whole chapter in the book where the main character talks about the sex doll he bought. It adds nothing to the story and is never brought up again because he disposes of it. I don't think that part appeared in the movie (thank god). I also loved how Bumblebee didn't have any sex jokes like the previous films. Bumblebee didn't lubricate on anyone which showed a real respect for the character, and he was just a fun robot boy.

 

at first I thought "Supporting? Who was the lead actress?"...then I remembered sometimes studios campaign for oscars by either exaggerating or downplaying an actor's role in certain categories just to get a nod (and hopefully a win)...not sure if the Saturns work in the same way...
