Grimlock can be summed up in one word: insanity. And I mean that in the best way possible. He is in the Elite class, same as Optimus, Megatron, and BB. I don’t have Megatron, but I have the other two, and Grimlock is already my favorite of the set. The pairing of a Dino and garbage truck is already kind of odd, but on top of it, Grimlock has maybe the most different transformation of any other Grimlock I have seen. Basically it starts by ripping the top half of the dinosaur, and folding a lot of it into the legs. The armor is great, and really beefs up Grimlock, and gives him some great claws to boot. Overall, just a lot of fun!
Man, I really want to like this but that dino head is atrocious. I really like Cheetor, so maybe I'll give it a shot.
I hadn't gotten into the line until these came along. In general, these are really nice because they don't have built in gimmicks that encumber articulation on the main figs. Which is the only thing that is a negative with Grimlock's armor, is that there isn't many options for dynamic posing due to the gimmick, but otherwise he is a lot of fun. The top half of the dino folding into the legs reminds me of RID Vehicon a bit.
