    Hot soldiers prime is weird looking? Aside from the waist swivel (which is part of the transformation and not an actual proper waist swivel) he looks great to me. What's weird?

    He's a little gangly, being metal probably lends to his parts not really staying together as well. Doesn't have proper lock points to lock pieces in place.

    Metal? I think we're talking about different figures. Hot Soldiers Prime is plastic. Does THS-02 refer to something else? I assumed it stood for The Hot Soldiers but I don't actually know Optimus' number in that line.

    Right right. Even though the brand name is "The Hot Soldiers," they named theirs HS02. I'm sure you understand my confusion: they even used the same number.

    Do you have mixed collections or only buy the same brand?. Depending the character I buy one brand or another. For example, for me Jazz, Cosmos and Bee are smaller than the other Autobots, so I bought NewAge version.

    i had to take a second look because their coding, or whatever that is, got me also. i'll just assume THS-02 stands for The Hybrid Style. so who is 01 then?

    Hybrid Style Galaxy Convoy is THS-01

    FURTHERMORE EDIT:
    THS = Transformers Hybrid Style

    I just received this little beauty!! Prowl Irontrans M01 Mini Series Police Car. Very good quality, sturdy, tight articulations and very posable. Totally recommended.

    Oh yeah man that's the only way to roll for me! All of the companies have their merits and shortcomings. But most imprtantly, no single brand makes every character. Lastly, different companies skew towards different sizes within the range. As long as your "head canon" accepts it, and/or as long as your collection looks to your liking, that's all that counts!
