Sorry to go slightly off-topic, but man that Toy Factory BB Movie Prime looks freaking epic. Like a mix between G1 and Bayverse Prime. Would be a cool addition to the TE-01 for something a bit more modern, but also offers some nods to the original G1 design.

I definitely noticed it when doing in hand comparisons with him and MP-44. That was one of the areas I marked as a win for this guy.

I actually don't like that logo, not accurate to the cartoon. BTW, that is a photo of the V2 version, you can tell by the more transparent windshield.

Okay, just got back and had enough time to snap a few pics of my SG TE-01:

    sgte01 background.jpg
    Cool faceplate scar.

Heh, as I've said before, I don't actually have a normal TE-01. That way I don't have to worry about version, just get the other colors:
    te01s.jpg

I'm also amused that 4 Primes, 2 of which are Nemesis colored, but they manage to all have different colored energo-axes:

More not Optimii than you can shake a stick at:

Does Toyhax not sell Shattered Glass Autobot symbols, or am I not searching their site right?

I like the blue energon axe the best. It stands out because it's the farthest from the original color IMO.

Would chroming the grill look bad given the grill ends up on his ass in robot mode?

Maybe just chrome the stacks, gas tanks and grill in robot mode and leave the vehicle mode grill untouched.

I was surprised that they used the same colour axe on Ms01-B as they did with the MS01W.
I mean I know why they, because it was probably on the same sprue set as the crotch pieces.
But still, we all know nemesis has a red axe !!

That aside, the SG actually looks pretty gud. I already have the first MP10 SG KO with the darker colours.
This reminds me of that version.
I might have to pick one up if my finances allow this month.

WTF? TE-01 and MS-01 combined would be cheaper than that.

I saw Transform Element Prime at a Toy show this weekend.

I think with that new second head it actually looks really really nice.

That is really weird. I got my legit MP10 from BBTS quite a few years ago for like $200 or under. Can't remember. I could never spend that much on a single fig. I almost cried getting Phoenix for 230 and I love Omega Supreme, but keep backing out pulling the trigger on DX9 Gabriel. He costs the same as Phoenix

That's clearly an attempt to see what the market will bear. IIRC MP-10 came out in 2011. I didn't get him until much later - in 2015. And even then he only cost $189

TE-01 is sold out at Show.Z again and I think he said he got like 200 of them, so we get to start guessing what V4 looks like.

I never got MP10, I wouldn’t mind it for the trailer but I have the huge MP 04 version. I don’t know who’s paying $350 for it, we’re drowning in Primes.

Forgive me for chiming in here on your picture celebration, but this last one just shows exactly my point, and why I think that if TE were to take MP Megatron and do a more toony clean TE01 look, and be as good as that, I would bite, and maybe replace my Megatron.
If only to be boxed up or in Gun mode in the display, not sure yet, but with how MP44 turned out, and trust me, I own MP Megatron Takara version, so I feel you on the back there, but I really really want to see if TE can do an MP Megatron as smooth as they did their Optimus... Challenge offered for consideration..
    Will it be accepted?? TBD..
Additionally I would love to see them do an MP Megatron take that hearkens to the Tank G1 version as seen in the Transformers Devastation video game.
He's gotta be skinny too when in the bot form, see his chest isn't that deep. Keep that G1 profile as much as possible with him being a tank.
The Tank version actually really cleans up the back nicely, tho the secondary cannon is now missing.
But that is liveable, as it's a TANK version.. Another interesting feature is that the tank cannon can form into the G1 style cannon. That would be a great engineering trick for TE to pull off.
I'd keep my MP Megatron on the shelf, and pose this version next to TE01, that would look awesome. The key is making the scaling similar fitting to that of the TT Megatron MP. Either way, I think that TE01 and MP44 have shown there is a market for a more clean and toony aesthetic over that of over enginering, and panels and the focus of hiding stuff on the back. I thought that we were long past that.
And just to be cute.. G1 Ironhide's art was very suggestive. I cannot believe people did not see that!! Holy cow!
    In closing..
TE has a good opportunity here to try something new, or go for that Classic Megatron. Heck, make it so it is compatible with the MP Megatron gear, and just release the figure as a pistol, with minimal accessories and around the price of TE01. That's lighting in a bottle Twice!
Incidentally is there a thread that tells you the best version of G1 Optimus to buy? I came across this image and fell in love again.
