Tfsource is jacking up the price bec they know a lot of people love mp-10 more than mp-44.. goodluck selling at that price tho
The original run was $250 on the domestic market back in 2012. I remember because I was offered something like $200 through BBTSD and turned it down because I thought nobody would pay that. About a year or so later, supplies ran low, I choked and paid $350. Every subsequent run has been south of $200. I want to say $180 on the last Takara with the long life design mark on the box? TRU being $120 was an anomaly...Hasbro often cut corners on their MPs, most evidently with Starscream, to make that lower price. Even then, people complained, bitterly, about the price, because it's never cheap enough for some collectors.
Just found some info on my original order from BBTS in July, 2011. Prime was $250 in its original run. Then TRU put it out originally for $99.99, the jacked it up to $119.99. No pun intended on them taking advantage of a prime market. If they feel comfortable setting that price, there’s someone that will buy it for that price. No need to complain, you’re either going to or not.
You know if they had released it at the same price as the Ghostbusters theme, I wouldn't have questioned it.
350 for MP10? So they want as much for MP10, as most paid on AJ for MP44? Okie Dokie. To each their own, I guess I'm still waiting to hear back from TFS about the messed up 35th Anniversary Bluestreak they sent me. You know, the one that's SOLD OUT. Seriously, who's driving the TFS train right now?
I'm guessing warehouses are dumping MP-10 stock and TFSource bought some on the cheap. I wouldn't be surprised if this price isn't a set-up for a clearance of $200 (43% off!!! LOL!).
