While I wouldn’t say you’re crazy for thinking as much, it’s less that this thread should be merged with the Speculation Thread and more that any speculation that became too far removed from the initial rumors should have been done in that thread to begin with.

 

What are the chances that we will see the WFC part 2 Titan Class and Commander Class figures at NYCC in early October?
My expectations are high after WFC-S Omega Supreme even though who they are is still a total mystery

The Titan, whenever they plan to show a hint such as a foot or weapon piece, must be Scorponock, hes the last true Titan / City Bot left to do

 

I like POTP Rodimus, but it has 3/4 modes (depending on how you count them), all of which are severely compromised by the combining gimmick. I’d prefer they release two toys under WFC - a great deluxe Hot Rod and a great voyager Rodimus Prime (although, let’s face it, it’s going to be a voyager sized leader with armor like Shockwave and Astrotrain).

Also, off topic, but the time is now for a really amazing new MP Rodimus Prime.

 

I tend to ignore the combined mode and just use the hot rod mode as rodimus, especially since he sizes about right with siege figures for that

 

I'd take a new Voyager Rodimus, but I'd accept a Leader with a Voyager sized Rodimus and a detachable trailer.

Probably teased at NYCC. Full reveal probably won't be until Toy Fair in February. That's when the Titans have been unveiled so far.

 

If (and it's not a guarantee by any means) Scorponok shares parts/engineering with any Titan, I'd lay money on Trypticon. He's ready-made to make the base and robot modes (and the scorpion one is just a matter of how the legs are done)

 

And fingers crossed that he isn't a retool.

 

I seriously doubt they'd make Scorponok a retool.

But here's something that I have picked up on with Siege. Each of the figures has had the bare minimum of one mold reuse.

 

In a perfect world, we'd get Omega Sentinel, Omega SPREEM and Black Zarak as the mold reuses. Oh, and a Commander Scorponok for the comic fans(probably a Black Zarak redeco, as Black Zarak is about that size too I believe)

 

You’re right, except for the as yet unreleased final waves, Omega Supreme, Springer, Jetfire, Ravage and Laserbeak..

So I’d expect them to have releases in the next series ..

 

Max is the only one that's been a retool and they literally said it was because it was a rush job. Scorps will be made from scratch like every other Titan since Max.

 

Nothing bar a tease at NYCC, as stated above.

I see Scorponok as one of two commanders next year, the other being the Armada Op Takara showed by accident earlier this year - not sure I quite believe the previous Hasbro denials. To My Mind, Commnder suits Scorponok better than Titan. YMMV.

I don't see there being another Titan.

Watch as I am proved wrong on all three predictions.

 

Reliable sources have already hinted at a Titan, and an expected one most likely Scorpy.

Honestly, it could work in this case. The 'armor' could turn into his back end/trailer in vehicle mode.
