Yes, please, some kind of proof. People either tip-toe around with polite "grains of salt" comments or outright completely believe what this guy says, but there is no proof to anything. They just come across as "personal fantasy" to me, grounded in just enough plausibility that if things turn out that way the guy can go "See, told you!!" and if they don't he can go "My 'friend' got it wrong".

Yeah, it’s all of this, “I have secret inside info” crap that raised people’s expectations to unrealistic levels, and then got them mad at Zeta when reality didn’t mesh with what they expected. Whether he’s doing it to be optimistic or to be a big shot on a message board, it’s not appreciated. Speculate all you want, just don’t claim you have access to an Oracle.

I’m not asking anyone to believe any of this. I just wanted to share what I was told. If you look at what I previous posted a couple of days ago some of what he said about Hasbro going after Zeta has come to pass. I can’t give any proof and yes I know the burden of proof lies on me. Hence, just take it as the rumor it is.

Nothing has "come to pass." You just guessed, like a bunch of other people did. Sometimes, when you guess, you might get something right. You also made a bunch of claims about Hasbro having over 8,000 pre-orders and wanting 10,000. I call BS on you for claiming that.

Before everyone goes bananas we have to remember they have stepped in before this when FT Grimlock showed up. They ended up I think delaying it a bit and asked them to change the dino head so it didn't mess with their MP-08. Hasbro won't stop this from being released, but at most they might ask for a delay or a tiny change to him. No need to freak out and call Hasbro the worst company ever or assume they canceled it. We should have expected this from the get-go given the timing.

The first several times i shared what he told me I gave a full disclaimer to take it as you may. There’s no rule that I can’t share something like this. I’m not giving proof and outing my friend and risking him getting in some type of trouble with his job. Sorry.

Other forums I’ve been on have had rules where someone claiming inside knowledge had to verify it in private with a mod before posting publicly.

 

Then every time you post "My friend told me" we'll just remind people that there's a good chance you're making it all up.
